Beloved, have you noticed our new Masthead? The Bible is true and please believe. Our Earth is FLAT , The Flat Earth WITH A DOMED ROOF OVER IT! Radially bounded by a massive, icy wall called Antarctica. Earth Is Immovable!!! Earth Is Not a Ball! They have fed us innumerable 'photos' of Earth from space! Not a single one of them is a photo! They are all computer-generated images! CGIs! Copernican Theory has been fact with zero proof for millennia! The conspiracy to deceive us and take away YaHuWaH from HIS Earth has failed. Big-bang Theory! Darwinian Theory! Copernican Theory! - All Theories!! Non-facts and non-truths, have reigned over us for so long we came to believe that our Earth is a globe! Our Earth is not a globe. Dubious claims of landing on the moon have been proven to be hoaxes and lies. As NASA today is expressing the impossibility of man going to the moon as they have no answer yet of how to overcome the Van Allen Radiation Belt right above our stratosphere! Limitless Deception!

YaHuWaH bless You and keep You and all of your loved ones. Amein.

We celebrate these two events on the same date and at the same time:
  1. The one event is the giving the Ten Commandments at Sinai
  2. The other is the Upper-Room outpouring of the Early Rain, the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit)
The two great events took place on the same date for they are the very same event. To have the Ruach haQodesh in the Soul is to have the Law printed in the Heart and vice versa. It will happen in 41 days. As we prepare to celebrate, let's make ready for the Latter Rain. It may well happen on this date!

YaHuWaH's Passover | Our Holiday

This presentation of the Passover, a most important divine holiday and holy day, will seek to lead the Disciple to understand the following aspects of this Feast:

  • Origin & Nature
  • The Law
  • Purpose
  • The Spirit of Prophecy's Position on this Feast
  • Significance, in history, at present and eternity

Passover In Scripture

YaHuWaH's LAW | THE STATUTE

A Statute:
A Statute is a written law that is formally created by a government; a written rule or regulation
- Merriam Webster's Dictionary

The Bible reveals YaHuWaH's Ten Commandments, Statutes and Judgments. These are all laws targeted at different aspects of the lives of Elohiym's people. The Ten Commandments at the Top and umbrella of everything else, revealing the height a mind led by the Holy Spirit must reach - sinlessness. They reveal what sin is.
The Statutes are designed to explain the Ten commandments and guard them, and the Judgments designed for deterrence or punishment in the event of transgression by man against man in some cases, and by man against Elohiym in others.

Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Genesis 26:5 [KJV]

The Ten Commandments
The Law

Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I [am] YaHuWaH. Leviticus 18:5 KJV

In every generation and in every land the true foundation for character building has been the same - the principles contained in the word of Elohiym. The only safe and sure rule is to do what Elohiym says. "The statutes of YaHuWaH are right," and "he that doeth these things shall never be moved." Psalm 19:8; 15:5. It was with the word of Elohiym that the apostles met the false theories of their day, saying, "Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid." 1 Corinthians 3:11.
E. G. White, 'Acts of the Apostles', 475.2

A Joyous Occasion:
-The Scriptures state that both YaHuWshuaH and His disciples were called to this marriage feast [at Cana]. Messiah has given Natsariym (Natsarene) no sanction to say when invited to a marriage, We ought not to be present on so joyous an occasion. By attending this feast Messiah taught that He would have us rejoice with those who do rejoice in the observance of His statutes.
E. G. White, 'Adventist Home', 101

Ellen G. White
Ellen G. White
Prophetess To The Remnant
The teaching which has become so wide-spread that the divine statutes are no longer binding upon men, is the same as idolatry in its effect upon the morals of the people. Those who seek to lessen the claims of Elohiym's holy law are striking directly at the foundation of the government of families and nations. Religious parents, failing to walk in his statutes, do not command their household to keep the way of the Master.
E. G. White, 'Natsariym (Christian) Education', p. 221

In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Messiah gave to Mosheh religious precepts which were to govern everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Messiah. They were to be binding upon men in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law.

THE PASSOVER STATUTE

Calvary crucifixion
Calvary, Where the Blood Was Shed

And יהוה (YaHuWaH) spoke to Mosheh, saying,

  1. “Speak to the children of Yisra'ĕl, and say to them, 'The appointed times of יהוה (YaHuWaH), which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these:
  2. 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the Passover to יהוה (YaHuWaH).
  3. 'And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to יהוה (YaHuWaH) - seven days you eat unleavened bread.
  4. Calvary crucifixion
    The Passover's Divine Calendar
  5. 'On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.
  6. 'And you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה (YaHuWaH) for seven days. On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.'
Leviticus 23:1-2, 5-8 [TS98]

  1. And YaHuWaH spake unto Mosheh and Aharon in the land of Egypt, saying,
  2. This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
  3. Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
  4. And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
  5. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
  6. Ripe Barley
  7. And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Yisra'el shall kill it in the evening.
  8. And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
  9. And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
  10. Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
  11. And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
  12. And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is YaHuWaH's passover.
  13. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the Elohiym of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am YaHuWaH.
Exodus 12:1-12 RNKJV

Even though we are discussing Passover, we must note that there are three major feasts all bundled together as Passover. As seen in the scripture above, along with the Passover, is the 'Unleavened Bread'. But a day after the beginning of Unleavened Bread, is the highly significant Feast of First Fruits. These are closely related and shall be dealt with here as a unit. For among the three times that every Yahuwdiy male has to travel to the holy city, Yerushalayim, every year, the Passover (Pesach) is the first one. But the Pesach would be just one day if standing alone. But all Yisra'el remain in the City all through the eight days of the Unleavened Bread. They stand together and today are referred to as the Spring Feasts.

FIRST FRUITS (RESURRECTION)

And יהוה (YaHuWaH) spoke to Mosheh, saying,

  1. “Speak to the children of Yisra'ĕl, and you shall say to them, 'When you come into the land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest'".
  2. 'And he shall wave the sheaf before יהוה (YaHuWaH), for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the priest waves it'.
  3. 'And on that day when you wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a male lamb a year old, a perfect one, as a burnt offering to יהוה (YaHuWaH)',
  4. Waving a sheaf Of Barley
  5. and its grain offering: two-tenths of an ĕphah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to יהוה (YaHuWaH), a sweet fragrance, and its drink offering: one-fourth of a hin of wine.
  6. 'And you do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your Elohiym - a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Leviticus 23:9-14 [TS98]

After 400 years in slavery in Egypt, Yisra'el had to enjoy the fulfillment of YaHuWaH's promise to Abraham:
  1. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
  2. And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
  3. And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
  4. But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
Genesis 15:13-16 RNKJV

  1. Now the sojourning of the children of Yashar'el, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.
  2. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of YaHuWaH went out from the land of Egypt.
Exodus 12:40-41 RNKJV

For every family of Elohiym's people, on the 10th day of Abib, Select a spotless one year lamb or goat. For four days they feed and bond and pet the animal. At evening on the 14th of Abib, kill the animal and through the night, eat it all roasted, with unleavened bread and bitter herb. Leave nothing of it until morning. Bury whatever was not eaten. The next day is the beginning of Unleavened Bread, a high Sabbath, Abib 15. Yisra'el eats the bread with wine, and bitter herbs until the last day of the Feast, Abib 21. The next day is a normal Seventh day Sabbath.

The unleavened bread reminded them of the haste with which they left Egypt, the bitter herbs representing the galling yoke and bondage in Egypt. Every year in order to ensure generations of Yisra'el do not forget Elohiym's providence, the Feast is repeated at the same time on the same dates.

Ripe Barley

On the Day after the Sabbath, which is the 16th of Abib, the High priest waves a sheaf of barley before YaHuWaH. That sheaf is the First Fruits of the Harvest. This singular and simple ceremony represented the Resurrection of the Son of Elohiym, the First from the Dead, who Himself went early to represent those who shall be the 'barley harvest' of Revelation 14:11 - 20. And the Bible confirms, by MattithYahuw 28. And when He rose, He resurrected many Saints whom He took to Heaven as evidence of Him being 'the resurrection'.

  1. In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.
  2. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of YaHuWaH descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
  3. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
  4. And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
  5. And the Angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek YaHuWshuaH, which was crucified.
  6. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the master lay.
MattithYahuw 28:1-6 RNKJV

The night of the first day of the week had worn slowly away. The darkest hour, just before daybreak, had come. Mashiach was still a prisoner in His narrow tomb. The great stone was in its place; the Roman seal was unbroken; the Roman guards were keeping their watch. And there were unseen watchers. Hosts of evil angels were gathered about the place. Had it been possible, the prince of darkness with his apostate army would have kept forever sealed the tomb that held the Son of Elohiym. But a heavenly host surrounded the sepulcher. Angels that excel in strength were guarding the tomb, and waiting to welcome the Prince of life.

"And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of YaHuWaH descended from heaven." Clothed with the panoply of Elohiym, this Angel left the heavenly courts. The bright beams of Elohiym's glory went before him, and illuminated his pathway. "His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: and for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men".

Now, priests and rulers, where is the power of your guard? Brave soldiers that have never been afraid of human power are now as captives taken without sword or spear. The face they look upon is not the face of mortal warrior; it is the face of the mightiest of YaHuWaH's hosts. This messenger is he who fills the position from which Satan fell. It is he who on the hills of Bethlehem proclaimed Mashiach's birth. The Earth trembles at his approach, the hosts of darkness flee, and as he rolls away the stone, heaven seems to come down to the Earth. The soldiers see him removing the stone as he would a pebble, and hear him cry, Son of Elohiym, come forth; Thy Father calls Thee. They see YaHuWshuaH come forth from the grave, and hear Him proclaim over the rent sepulcher, "I am the resurrection, and the life." As He comes forth in majesty and glory, the Angel host bow low in adoration before the Redeemer, and welcome Him with songs of praise.

E.G. White, 'The Desire of Ages, Chap. 81 - "YaHuWshuaH Is Risen"', 780-781

The Ceremonial Law was the part of the Torah, that specified in great details every ritual sacrifice in the sacrificial system. The Sacrificial system was the object lesson, demonstrated day by day, all representing the coming antitypical sacrifice of the Son of YaHuWaH. They included animal offerings, grain offerings, incense, oils, etc. Of these, the Bible looking forward to the death of YaHuWshuaH on the Cross, said these:

And he YaHuWshuaH shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, ...
Daniy'el 9:27 [KJV]

And after the Savior's sacrifice, Humanity was no longer permitted to do certain things. Some of which may be discerned very clearly in the following biblical texts:

  1. Thus saith YaHuWaH, The heaven [is] my throne, and the Earth [is] my footstool: where [is] the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest?
  2. For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been, saith YaHuWaH: but to this [man] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
  3. He that killeth an ox [is as if] he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, [as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, [as if he offered] swine's blood; he that burneth incense, [as if] he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
  4. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose [that] in which I delighted not.
YeshaYahuw (Isaiah) 66:1-4 [KJV]

Folks there's this thing which we have almost completely lost sight of and which on the authority of the divine Word above, shall invariably, but avoidably, lead to the loss of many souls! There are only three reasons given in Scripture for the killing of animals:

  1. Sacrifice
  2. Necessity
  3. Self-defense

SACRIFICIAL REASON

After Adam's creation his food was defined by his Creator YaHuWshuaH in this manner:

"And Elohiym said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the Earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."
Genesis 1:29 [KJV]

Adam and his family were to eat nothing but fruits, grains and nuts. But after the fall, vegetables were added to Adam's diet to enhance protein replacement as degradation and dying had taken hold of the human family.

...; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Genesis 3:18 [KJV]

Following Adam's fall, the shedding of blood for the atonement of his sin became a life-long lesson he and his descendants must learn in preparation for the arrival of the promised seed (Genesis 3:15). But at this time, the slain animals were wholly burnt and never eaten. Their skin did also serve for clothing for the fallen race. Before the fall we needed no clothing. For the first 1500 years of human existence, no man ate flesh of any kind.

Unto Adam also and to his wife did YaHuWaH Elohiym make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Genesis 3:21 [KJV]

"The sacrificial offerings were ordained by Elohiym to be to man a perpetual reminder and a penitential acknowledgment of his sin and a confession of his faith in the promised Redeemer. They were intended to impress upon the fallen race the solemn truth that it was sin that caused death. To Adam, the offering of the first sacrifice was a most painful ceremony. His hand must be raised to take life, which only Elohiym could give. It was the first time he had ever witnessed death, and he knew that had he been obedient to Elohiym, there would have been no death of man or beast. As he slew the innocent victim, he trembled at the thought that his sin must shed the blood of the spotless Lamb of Elohiym. This scene gave him a deeper and more vivid sense of the greatness of his transgression, which nothing but the death of Elohiym's dear Son could expiate. And he marveled at the infinite goodness that would give such a ransom to save the guilty. A star of hope illumined the dark and terrible future and relieved it of its utter desolation.
E. G. White, 'Patriarchs and Prophets', 68.1

NECESSITY: AS REASON FOR KILLING ANIMALS

And Noah began [to be] an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
Genesis 9:20 [KJV]

This necessity ended after the family replanted and reaped. Unfortunately the first thing recorded at the first harvest following the flood was Noah's getting drunk! It appeared that having tasted flesh foods, man would refuse to let go of flesh foods even when they are no longer required. But the consequence was the catastrophic reduction in human longevity from almost a thousand years of lifespan to just a hundred and below today!.

The second major aspect of the 'Necessity', was the need for the Sinner to partake of the 'sin offering'. This was developed at Sinai. And from Sinai, until the Cross, Man needed to eat animal flesh during the Sacrificial process.
But when the Savior died on the Cross, the Flood and Sacrifices as reasons, became eternal history. Thus the need for the Bible to warn that slaying animals after the Cross would be viewed by Heaven as 'Murder'. All who today are killing animals for food or partaking of the flesh as killed by another, are guilty of murder. And the blood of those animals shall be required at their hands.

  1. What man soever [there be] of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp (at home), or that killeth [it] out of the camp,
  2. And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto YaHuWaH before the tabernacle of YaHuWaH; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
Leviticus 17:3-4 (KJV)

The killing of any animal which has not been presented to YaHuWaH at HIS Tabernacle, is expressly forbidden. We do not have any right or reason today to kill animals other than in self-defense. Think about this.

"Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them."
Psalm 119:165 [KJV]

Abib is the month, and the 14th is the day. And the time, evening. YaHuWaH commands that every year on this date and time, we are to celebrate the Passover. The command was given, as you recall in the context of the Exodus of Yahuwdiym from Egypt. During the night of the Passover, all Yisra'el were to remain indoors eating the Passover flesh and the Unleavened Bread and the Bitter Herb. The Destroying Angel was to be busy wiping out all Egyptian firstborns, of men and cattle that night! But that if the Angel does not see the blood of the sacrifice on your door post and lintel, regardless of your claim to be of Yashar'el, you do not belong to Yisra'el and would be killed by the Angel. But if the Angel saw the blood, whether on Yashar'eliy or Egyptian door posts, he 'passed over them'. Thus the Passover.

Yashar'el has long celebrated this great Feast. But it is not clear that ancient Yashar'el, and certainly modern Yashar'eliym understood the meaning of the Feast. They all know or were taught that the 'blood of bulls and goats', does not save.
Hebrews 10:4-5 RNKJV
(4) For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
(5) Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
The animal sacrifice and blood was pointing to the blood of the Son of YaHuWaH, our Creator, whose blood when shed, will be expected to be painted on the door post and lintel of our souls. If the Blood is not found on your heart, the apocalyptic Destroying Angels will not 'Pass Over You'! If you would not celebrate the Feast, there is no way you can benefit from YaHuWshuaH's Death on Calvary's Cross. For Yashar'eliym who celebrate trusting in animal blood, they cannot expect to be covered by HIS Blood, and should expect to face the Destroying Angels on that day. Let's take a little deeper look at the feast in history below

PASSOVER IN HISTORY

There were three annual assemblies of all Yisra'el for worship at the Sanctuary. Exodus 23:14-16. Shiloh was for a time the place of these gatherings; but Yerushalayim afterward became the center of the nation's worship, and here the tribes convened for the solemn feasts.

The people were surrounded by fierce, warlike tribes, that were eager to seize upon their lands; yet three times every year all the able-bodied men and all the people who could make the journey were directed to leave their homes and repair to the place of assembly, near the center of the land. What was to hinder their enemies from sweeping down upon those unprotected households, to lay them waste with fire and sword? What was to prevent an invasion of the land, that would bring Yisra'el into captivity to some foreign foe? ... [YaHuWaH] had promised to be the protector of His people. "The Angel of [YaHuWaH] encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them." Psalm 34:7. While the Yashar'eliym went up to worship, divine power would place a restraint upon their enemies... . [YaHuWaH's] promise was, "I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before ... [YaHuWaH thy Elohiym] thrice in the year." Exodus 34:24.

Passover Lamb

The first of these festivals, the Passover, the feast of unleavened bread, occurred in Abib, the first month of the Biblical year, corresponding to the last of March and the beginning of April. The cold of winter was past, the latter rain had ended, and all nature rejoiced in the freshness and beauty of springtime. The grass was green on the hills and valleys, and wild flowers everywhere brightened the fields. The moon, now approaching the full, made the evenings delightful. It was the season so beautifully pictured by the sacred singer:

"The winter is past, The rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the Earth; The time of the singing of birds is come, And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree ripeneth her green figs, And the vines are in blossom, They give forth their fragrance".
Song of Solomon 2:11-13, R.V.

Throughout the land bands of pilgrims were making their way toward Yerushalayim. The shepherds from their flocks, the herdsmen from the mountains, fishers from the Sea of Galilee, the husbandmen from their fields, and sons of the prophets from the sacred schools - all turned their steps toward the place where ... [YaHuWaH's] presence was revealed. They journeyed by short stages, for many went on foot. The caravans were constantly receiving accessions, and often became very large before reaching the Holy City.

Nature's gladness awakened joy in the hearts of Yisra'el and gratitude to the Giver of all good. The grand Hebrew Psalm were chanted, exalting the glory and majesty of [YaHuWaH]. At the sound of the signal trumpet, with the music of cymbals, the chorus of thanksgiving arose, swelled by hundreds of voices:

"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go unto the house of YaHuWaH. Our feet are standing Within thy gates, O Yerushalayim (Yerushalayim) ... Whither the tribes go up, even the tribes of ... [Elohiym], ... To give thanks unto the name of [YaHuWaH]... . Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim (Yerushalayim): They shall prosper that love thee.
Psalm 122:1-6, R.V.

As they saw around them the hills where the heathen had been wont to kindle their altar fires, the children of Yisra'el sang:

Shall I lift up mine eyes to the hills? Whence should my help come? My help cometh from [YaHuWaH], Which made heaven and Earth." Psalm 121:1, 2 (margin). "They that trust in ... [ YaHuWaH] Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth forever. As the mountains are round about Yerushalayim, So ... [ YaHuWaH] is round about His people, From this time forth and forevermore.
Psalm 125:1, 2, R.V.

Surmounting the hills in view of the Holy City, they looked with reverent awe upon the throngs of worshipers wending their way to the temple. They saw the smoke of the incense ascending, and as they heard the trumpets of the Levites heralding the sacred service, they caught the inspiration of the hour, and sang:

"Great is ... [YaHuWaH], and greatly to be praised In the city of our ... [Elohiym], in the mountain of His holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole Earth, Is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, The city of the great King".
Psalm 48:1, 2.

Peace be within thy walls, And prosperity within thy palaces." "Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise ... [ YaHuWaH]." "I will pay my vows unto ... [ YaHuWaH] Now in the presence of all His people, In the courts of ... [YaHuWaH's] house, In the midst of thee, O Yerushalayim (Yerushalayim), Praise ye ... [YaHuWaH].
Psalm 122:7; 118:19; 116:18, 19.

All the houses in Yerushalayim (Yerushalayim) were thrown open to the pilgrims, and rooms were furnished free; but this was not sufficient for the vast assembly, and tents were pitched in every available space in the city and upon the surrounding hills.

On the fourteenth day of the month, at even, the Passover was celebrated, its solemn, impressive ceremonies commemorating the deliverance from bondage in Egypt, and pointing forward to the sacrifice that should deliver from the bondage of sin. When the Saviour yielded up His life on Calvary, the significance of the Passover ceased, and the ordinance of the Master's Supper was instituted as a memorial of the same event of which the Passover had been a type.

The Passover was followed by the seven day's feast of Unleavened Bread. The first and the seventh day were days of holy convocation, when no servile work was to be performed. On the second day of the feast, the first fruits of the year's harvest were presented before ... [YaHuWaH]. Barley was the earliest grain in Palestine, and at the opening of the feast it was beginning to ripen. A sheaf of this grain was waved by the priest before the altar of ... [YaHuWaH], as an acknowledgment that all was His. Not until this ceremony had been performed was the harvest to be gathered.

The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; And the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: The glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, The excellency of Carmel and Sharon; They shall see the glory of ... [YaHuWaH], and the excellency of our ... [Elohiym].
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, And the tongue of the dumb sing: "For in the wilderness shall waters break out, And streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water: ... "And an highway shall be there, and a way, And it shall be called The way of holiness; The unclean shall not pass over it; But it shall be for those: The wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
"No lion shall be there, Nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, It shall not be found there; But the redeemed shall walk there: "And the ransomed of ... [YaHuWaH] shall return, And come to Zion with songs And everlasting joy upon their heads: They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away. YeshaYahuw 35:1, 2, 5-10.

On Abib 10, while Yahuwdiym Priests met to plot YaHuWshuaH's murder, He was in the home of Simon the Leper, the father of Judas Iscariot, to enjoy Simon's gratitude for being healed by Him of leprosy. Mary, anointed him with spikenard, preparing HIS body for 'burial'. As the Lamb of Yah who will take away the sins of the world, He was set aside for dying on Abib 10 as specified. The next day Abib 11 He was in the Temple cleansing it from the merchandisers. On the night of Abib 13 after eating a meal, now called the 'Last Supper', He retired with His Disciples to Gethsemane for night and prayer. There, He was arrested and the sham trials began. Abib 14 He was crucified at the 3rd hour and the Sun could not continue to behold the sight and went dead at midday! At the hour of the evening sacrifice, the 9th hour, He gave up His Spirit. Our Passover was sacrificed. Every detail of the Passover Law was fulfilled. Even as each family was required to pet their selected lamb before its death, YaHuWshuaH was petted and cared for and feasted by His people at Simon's house. Though Judas tried to spoil the setting by condemning Mary, YaHuWshuaH rebuked him and affirmed Mary's act. And blessed her. And His Disciples worked very hard throughout the night and completed His burial just before dawn. Dawn was the morning of Abib 15, the beginning of Unleavened Bread and a high Sabbath. Early at dawn of Abib 16, He was out of the tomb to massive rejoicing by Heaven and Earth.

Passover Or The Master's Supper?

There is the confusion occasioned by the 'wine' of Babylon, that has troubled many a Saint. It is the question of whether the Passover is the same as the Last Supper. Even though it is not the scope of this page to deal exhaustively with this, as you can very easily have your fill of this truth by downloading these kindred Articles on the subject, it is important that we suit the curiosity or concern of Elohiym's Saints who desire the 'bone' of the Gospel. Passover Or Last Supper and Passover Puzzle

The Last Supper was not the Passover, for the following reasons:

  1. The bread used for the Ceremony was 'lekhem', and not 'Matzah'. The bread for use on Passover is 'Matzah', Unleavened Bread.
  2. The Event took place during the evening of 5th day of the week, Abib 13 and not on the Day of the Passover, Abib 14. YaHuWshuaH was crucified at the 3rd hour of Abib 14 and died on the Cross at the 9th hour, exactly at the moment the Passover lamb was to be killed by the High Priest at the Temple. The earthquake caused by His death, saved the life of the Passover lamb as the High Priest in terror of the quaking Earth and the rending of the massive curtain separating the Holy from the Most Holy Place could not but let the lamb escape to run for his own life!

There is no way that the Last Supper could have been the national festival of the Passover or else the bread used would have been unleavened bread. Clearly, the Last Supper took place the day before the Passover.
YaHuWshuaH knew that He would be dead when the Passover meal came. The Last Supper was His final meal before He was crucified as the Lamb of Yah. His death on the Passover at the very time of the evening sacrifice was a perfect fulfillment, the great anti-type, of all the lambs which had been slain since Adam and Eve first turned their weary steps away from Eden.
The beauty of this symbolism was expounded upon by Paul when he warned the Corinthians:
Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? [A little sin damages the whole man.] Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed ... [YaHuWshuaH], our Passover, was sacrificed for us.Therefore, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Corinthians 5:6-9, NKJV)

Unleavened Bread

The communion service, instituted by YaHuWshuaH at the Last Supper, is a commemoration of His death. It is not necessary to use leavened bread when participating in communion simply because YaHuWshuaH used leavened bread. Using the unleavened bread and pure grape juice of the Passover is the very essence of both ceremonies.
YaHuWshuaH was the perfect, sinless Son of YaHuWaH. As the Bread of Life, unleavened bread is the perfect symbol of Him. He could certainly have asked that unleavened bread be provided for the last meal He had with His disciples. The fact that He chose to use regular bread baked with leavening as a symbol of His body, broken for us, can be understood by the fact that He is our substitute.

[YaHuWaH] made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of ... [YaHuWaH] in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21, NKJV) YaHuWshuaH gave leavened bread to His disciples and said: “This is My body which is given for you.” (Luke 22:19) YaHuWshuaH was holy and sinless. But as our substitute, He took on our sin. The result is that all who believe in Him may be saved. His spotless righteousness is freely given to all who will accept by faith His sacrifice on our behalf. This is symbolized by the use of unleavened bread in communion. We are safely passed-over and the demands of the broken law are met by His blood shed on our behalf.

THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY SPEAKS

In every generation and in every land the true foundation for character building has been the same - the principles contained in the word of Elohiym. The only safe and sure rule is to do what Elohiym says. "The statutes of YaHuWaH are right," and "he that doeth these things shall never be moved." Psalm 19:8; 15:5. It was with the word of Elohiym that the Apostles met the false theories of their day, saying, "Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid." 1 Corinthians 3:11.
E. G. White, 'Acts of the Apostles', p. 475.2

A Joyous Occasion:
- The Scriptures state that both YaHuWshuaH and His Disciples were called to this marriage feast [at Cana].

Last Generation's Prophetess
The teaching which has become so wide-spread that the divine statutes are no longer binding upon men, is the same as idolatry in its effect upon the morals of the people. Those who seek to lessen the claims of Elohiym's holy law are striking directly at the foundation of the government of families and nations. Religious parents, failing to walk in his statutes, do not command their household to keep the way of the Master.
E. G. White, 'Natsariym (Christian) Education', 221

In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Messiah gave to Mosheh religious precepts which were to govern everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of the Messiah. They were to be binding upon men in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law.

YaHuWaH's PASSOVER IN THE END & ETERNITY

Every Saint today must celebrate the Feast with a 'new leaven'. Celebrate, merging the Last Supper and Passover specifications sprinkling YaHuWshuaH's Blood on the doorposts and lintels of our souls. When the Harvesting Angels of Revelation 14:19-20, the Seventh Angel, he will 'pass over us'. We should celebrate while looking forward to celebrating it 'new' with our Savior YaHuWshuaH in Heaven if we make it there by His grace.

  1. And as they were eating, YaHuWshuaH took bread, and blessed [it], and brake [it], and gave [it] to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
  2. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave [it] to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
  3. For this is my blood of the new Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
  4. But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
MattithYahuw 26:26 - 29 [KJV]

The Passover, the Master's Supper, whichever way you approach it, represents HIS death on the Cross of Calvary. This is a historical fact. A fact which terminated forever, the slaughter of hapless animals in sacrifice. It was the perfect fulfillment of everything in scripture that had anything to do with Sacrifices. Yet this very Feast, which one can be excused for assuming that it is in the past, is declared by the Savior to be celebrated in Heaven and the eternal 'Kingdom'. It is eternal.

With the above, is there any justification for anyone taking the position that its fulfillment in the Plan of Salvation signified termination of the Feasts? certainly not.

End Time 'Blood On Your Lintel and Doorpost'

What was the Purpose of the Passover in Mitsrayim (Egypt)? In simple English, it was first, to teach the yet-to-happen death of the Son of Elohiym and the ultimate availability of His precious blood, for 'cleansing from all sin'. Second, it was to test the Saints in Mitsrayim (Egypt) of their acceptance of the atoning and vicarious death of the Son of Elohiym. By placing the Blood on the lintel and doorpost of their homes, they demonstrated their acceptance of His death in their stead.

What would be the purpose of the EndTime Passover? Absolutely the same. Except that in the case of modern Yisra'el, we would be looking back at the historical blood shed on Calvary's Cross. Do we accept the death of HIM who was nailed to that Cross as being for us? Do we believe in HIM and HIS death? Then we may sprinkle that Blood on the doorpost and lintel of our hearts and soul. But it is clear that there is not going to be another command to kill a 'sacrificial cattle today or tomorrow as the corresponding test for the final generation. Our Passover has been sacrificed. And there can and will be no other! But would the final generation not be tested to establish their 'title' to the 'promised land' the Kingdom? They most certainly will. What form is this test going to take? And what will this test be? Remember that the question in the test will not change - 'who is Yisra'el and who is not?

Ancient Yisra'el had a 'final test' before entry into the 'promised land'. The Disciples of Mashiach had a 'final test' before becoming 'Natsariym' or 'Nazarenes'. Which was mainly the Disciples attitude to Mashiach's death and resurrection. We shall have ours to determine our suitability for eternal life. When Ancient Yisra'el had theirs, it appeared that YaHuWaH had 'ignored' all their past sins and zeroed in on their answer to the question of the 'Paschal event'. It seems to us that YaHuWaH may well 'ignore' all others and zero in on our attitude to the question of HIS LAW. Specifically, whether we accept His Sabbath or Not. His Sabbath as accurately depicted and delineated in Scripture. The biblical Sabbath exists only by the biblical Calendar. The Controversy over the Sabbath and Sunday, and more clearly, the controversy over the biblical and the Gregorian Calendars is and will be the 'FINAL TEST'. You will most certainly fail the 'test' if you continue to honor the Gregorian Calendar. May we keep each other in our prayers in other that we might be guided by the Holy Spirit into making the right choice and decision.

The Final Test

Compassionate Redeemer, who in the full knowledge of the doom that awaited Him, tenderly smoothed the way for the disciples, prepared them for their crowning trial, and strengthened them for the final test!
Ellen G. White, "Desire of Ages", p. 394.3;
So now, a sudden and un-looked-for calamity, something that brings the soul face to face with death, will show whether there is any real faith in the promises of Elohiym. It will show whether the soul is sustained by grace. The great final test comes at the close of human probation, when it will be too late for the soul's need to be supplied.
Ellen G. White, "Mashiach's (Christ's) Object Lessons", p. 412.1;
But not one is made to suffer the wrath of Elohiym until the truth has been brought home to his mind and conscience, and has been rejected. There are many who have never had an opportunity to hear the special truths for this time. The obligation of the fourth commandment has never been set before them in its true light. He who reads every heart and tries every motive will leave none who desire a knowledge of the truth, to be deceived as to the issues of the controversy. The decree is not to be urged upon the people blindly. Everyone is to have sufficient light to make his decision intelligently.
The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted. When the final test shall be brought to bear upon men, then the line of distinction will be drawn between those who serve Elohiym and those who serve Him not. While the observance of the false sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to Elohiym, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to Elohiym's law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator. While one class, by accepting the sign of submission to earthly powers, receive the mark of the beast, the other choosing the token of allegiance to divine authority, receive the seal of Elohiym.
Ellen G. White, "Great Controversy", p. 605(1-2)

End Time Passover approaches and is hastening on apace. We must get ready. We must celebrate the Passover feast today to keep us sensitive to the forthcoming event of cataclysmic proportions. The apocalyptic Passover will be a life and death event. Chose life today by celebrating the Temporal Passover Feasts to qualify and prepare for the Eternal Passover which we shall celebrate 'New' with our Savior YaHuWshuaH, in Heaven and Earth made new.

For each Feast, scripture declares: A law forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

You cannot claim to have kept the Commandments or the Sabbath if you do not keep the Passover Sabbath. For it is written in:
James 2:10 RNKJV
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
