YaHuWaH bless You and keep You and all of your loved ones. Amein.

We celebrate these two events on the same date and at the same time:
  1. The one event is the giving the Ten Commandments at Sinai
  2. The other is the Upper-Room outpouring of the Early Rain, the Ruach haQodesh (Holy Spirit)
The two great events took place on the same date for they are the very same event. To have the Ruach haQodesh in the Soul is to have the Law printed in the Heart and vice versa. It will happen in 41 days. As we prepare to celebrate, let's make ready for the Latter Rain. It may well happen on this date!

This page has been built off of an article by the Biblical Archaeology Society. It afforded us a typical case of the world's attitude to the Adversary. We are using it only for illustration and we are not in anyway impugning the integrity of BAS. We are thankful for the privilege to use their material for Elohiym's purposes and service. We also hope that they might remake this article in light of clearer light.

Satan | The Adversary of Heaven & Earth

It should be safe to say that there is none on Earth who does not know a thing or two about what some of us call "Satan" in the English Language. In the Ivriyt (Hebrew language), it is known as 'Shatan' or 'haShatan'. But, what is the name or title associated with? Who or what is it that is so described? What do people make of it or him? We shall be well served by looking up a couple of lexical information concerning this 'phenomenon'.

Satan

Satan, also known as the Devil, and sometimes also called Lucifer..., is an entity in the Abrahamic religions that seduces humans into sin or falsehood. In Judaism, Satan is seen as an agent subservient to [YaHuWaH], typically regarded as a metaphor for the "yetzer hara", or "evil inclination". In Natsarenity and Islam, he is usually seen as a fallen Angel or jinn who has rebelled against Elohiym, who nevertheless allows him temporary power over the fallen world and a host of demons. In the Quran, "Shaitan", also known as "Iblis", is an entity made of fire who was cast out of Heaven ...

A figure known as ha-satan ("the satan") first appears in the Hebrew Bible as a heavenly prosecutor, subordinate to YaHuWaH (Elohiym), who prosecutes the nation of Yahuwdah in the heavenly court and tests the loyalty of YaHuWaH's followers. ... Although the Book of Genesis does not mention him, he is often identified as the serpent in the Garden of Eden. In the Synoptic Gospels, Satan tempts YaHuWshuaH in the desert and is identified as the cause of illness and temptation. In the Book of Revelation, Satan appears as a Great Red Dragon, who is defeated by Michael the ArchAngel and cast down from Heaven. He is later bound for one thousand years, but is briefly set free before being ultimately defeated and cast into the Lake of Fire.

Wikipedia: Article, Satan
Satan

The word Satan is the English transliteration of a Hebrew word for “adversary” in the Bible. With the definite article, the Hebrew word denotes “the adversary” par excellence, mainly in the Book of Job, where the adversary comes to the heavenly court with the “sons of Elohiym.” His task is to roam the Earth (like a contemporaneous Persian official) seeking out acts or persons to be reported adversely (to the king); his function thus is the opposite of that of the “eyes of the YaHuWaH,” which roam the Earth strengthening all that is good. Satan is cynical about disinterested human goodness and is permitted to test it under Elohiym's authority and control and within the limits that Elohiym sets. In Judaism it is sometimes understood that, as adversary, Satan acts as something of a divine prosecutor for Elohiym; the two figures are not seen as antithetical.

Satan, in the three major Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Natsarenity, and Islam), (is) the prince of evil spirits and adversary of Elohiym. Satan is traditionally understood as an Angel (or sometimes a jinnī in Islam) who rebelled against Elohiym and was cast out of Heaven with other “fallen” Angels before the creation of humankind. Yechezki'el 28:14-18 and YeshaYahuw 14:12-17 are the key Scripture passages that support this understanding, and, in the New Testament, in Luke 10:18 YaHuWshuaH states that he saw Satan fall like lightning from Heaven. In all three major Abrahamic religions, Satan is identified as the entity (a serpent in the Genesis account) that tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden and was thus the catalyst for the fall of humankind.

There may be some incurable romantics around the world who do not believe in the concept of 'Evil'. All respect to them. However, every human being must have, and do experience things which they may describe as adding to or taking away from them; Increasing or diminishing them; positive or negative; good or bad; sweet, joyous or painful. It is a blatant lie, and self-deception, to believe otherwise.

It is also possible to have an attitude that accepts everything in life as positive! For instance, it is said that "behind every dark cloud, there is a silver lining". The Bible also teachings Natsariym in "1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of Elohiym in Mashiyach YaHuWshuaH concerning you.". This is without prejudice as to what, whether it be good or bad; sweet or painful; profitable or lossy.

The Natsariym viewpoint, derived from the Bible, believes "Romans 8:28 KJV "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love Elohiym, to them who are the called according to his purpose". Still, the Bible designates tons of things as evil. So it begs the question, 'what is evil and where is it from'?

Another pertinent question could be, "has evil always been here"? If no, we may wish to ask also, "when did it arrive here and from where?".

Caricature of Satan
The World's Caricature of Satan

The definitions above reveal that humanity is not entirely ignorant of the 'phenomenon' that is 'Satan'. But it is therefore startling when we observe communities, individuals, institutions make light of this 'phenomenon'. You would find some representing 'Satan' as some joke. Others would depict it as horned, hoofed, ugly caricature, again, in jest! But, of even more significance is the tendency to think that this 'phenomenon' is simply 'made-up', 'invented'!. We will review how no less an institution like the Biblical Archaeology Society approaches this important subject. Typifies the larger part of the world.

The Article by the Biblical Archaeology Society is titled " How the Serpent Became Satan; Adam, Eve and the serpent in the Garden of Eden authored by Shawna Dolansky. April 18, 2021"

Introduced as “the most clever of all of the beasts of the field that YHWH Elohiym had made,” the serpent in the Garden of Eden is portrayed as just that: a serpent. Satan does not make an appearance in Genesis 2-3, for the simple reason that when the story was written, the concept of the devil had not yet been invented. Explaining the serpent in the Garden of Eden as Satan would have been as foreign a concept to the ancient authors of the text as referring to Ezekiel's (Yechezkiy'el's) vision as a UFO (but Google “Ezekiel's vision” now, and you'll see that plenty of people today have made that connection!). In fact, while the word satan appears elsewhere in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, it is never a proper name; since there is no devil in ancient Israel's (Yashar'el's) worldview, there can't yet have been a proper name for such a creature.

Notice that according to BAS, 'satan' is an invention and Yechezkiy'el's vision was just a UFO sighting! Sickening! Even by worldlings, no one has proferred a single evidence or proof of what is called 'UFO'. Yet, for these, the UFO is more fact than the express Scripture Narrative!

The word (Sa'tan) itself, ... is simply an "adversary", and is so used in 1 Samuel 29:4; 2 Samuel 19:22; 1 Kings 6:4; 1 Kings 11:14; 1 Kings 11:23; 1 Kings 11:25; Numbers 22:22-23; Psalm 109:6. This original sense is still found in our Lord's Master's application of the name to St. (Peter) Kepha in MattithYahuw 16:23. It is used as a proper name or title only four times in the Old Testament, namely, (with the article), in Job 1:6; Job 1:12; Job 2:1; ZekarYahuw 2:1, and without the article in 1 Chronicles 21:1.

Smith's Bible Dictionary; Article: Satan.

Please note here that contrary to BAS's assertions, the title 'satan' was in use in Scripture from very far back.

In Numbers 22, the prophet Balaam, hired to curse the Israelites (Yashar'eliym), is stopped by a messenger from Israel's (Yashar'el)'s Elohiym YaHuWaH, described as “the satan” acting on Elohiym's behalf. In Job, “the satan” is a member of Elohiym's heavenly council — one of the divine beings, whose role in Job's story is to be an “accuser,” ... In Job's case, what's on trial is Elohiym's assertion that Job is completely “blameless and upright” vs. the Satan's contention that Job only behaves himself because Elohiym has rewarded him. Elohiym argues that Job is rewarded because he is good, and not good because he is rewarded. The satan challenges Elohiym to a wager that if everything is taken away from poor Job, he won't be so good anymore, and Elohiym accepts. Though a perception of “the satan” as Satan would make this portrait of Elohiym easier to swallow, the story demonstrates otherwise; like YaHuWaH's messenger in Numbers 22, this satan acts on YaHuWaH's instructions (and as a result of Elohiym's braggadocio) and is not an independent force of evil.

Ibid

BAS would accuse YaHuWaH of braggadocio? Epic blasphemy! We are indeed very sad to see this. But, let us read from Elohiym's Word.

Angel of Elohiym | Balaam's Adversary

And ELOHIYM'S anger was kindled because he went: and the Angel of YaHuWaH stood in the way for an adversary against him. ...

Numbers 22:22 Eth CEPHER

Note BAS's curious misunderstanding of plain Scripture. The Bible is clear: It was an Angel of YaHuWaH, who blocked Bala'am's way. The Angel was like an adversary, enemy to Bala'am! The Angel was not the Adversary! But, "as an adversary".

In the case of Job, the Scripture is clear. It was 'the Adversary'. But the BAS gives the impression that Satan and Elohiym were 'pals'! What insult! Elohiym asked Satan where he came from. Satan said, "from the Earth" Those were the days when Satan was the "representative" of Earth. This was Adam's position, lost, when he (Adam) sold out to Satan. Satan ceased to be our Earth's representative on the day YaHuWshuaH died on the Cross! YaHuWshuaH redeemed Earth from Satan's possession! But, while Satan remained our representative, he had one interest and one interest only! Accusing every single one of humanity of the most heinous sins in order to claim them as his own. Thus he became also known as the "Accuser". The individual subject of his prosecutorship, becomes Satan's subject or property, if Satan wins the 'case'! Satan wins if, on behalf of the 'sinner', YaHuWshuaH is unable to stand as 'Defense Attorney' . Any 'sinner' who spurns every wave of grace, has chosen death, and therefore is Satan's bonafide subject. Over such an unfortunate person, the Redeemer is barred by the "Great Controversy's" rules of engagement, to intervene!

Note the quote below where BAS directly accuses YaHuWaH of perfidy! Taking an action and claiming that 'satan did'! Claiming that Elohiym dishonestly placed his relationship with King David, as "uncompromised"! We have made this available to you so that you may know how desperate the world is to make us believe that Satan is 'the maligned'! And, consequently, inevitably, build the most distrust in the Elohiym of Heaven and Earth! Scholarship? How pathetic!

The word satan appears only once without “the” in front of it in the entire Hebrew Bible: in 1 Chronicles 21:1. Is it possible that we finally have Satan here portrayed? 1 Chronicles 21 parallels the story of David's census in 2 Samuel 24, in which Elohiym orders David to “go number Israel (Yashar'el) and Yahuwdah and then punishes king and kingdom for doing so. The Chronicler changes this story, as he does others, to portray the relationship between Elohiym and David as uncompromised; he writes that “a satan stood up against Israel (Yashar'el) and he provoked David to number Israel (Yashar'el)” (1 Chronicles 21:6-7; 27:24). ...

Ibid

Now let us review a bit of the Scripture. We may unearth 'perfidy' in BAS

AND again the anger of YaHuWaH was kindled against Yashar'el, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Yashar'el and Yahuwdah. 2 Samuel 24:1

For the king said to Yo'av the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Yashar'el, from Dan even to Be`er Sheva, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people. 2 Samuel 24:2

2 Samuel 24: 1- 2

1 Chronicles 21:1
AND Satan stood up against Yashar'el, and provoked Daviyd to number Yashar'el.

1 Chronicles 21:2
And Daviyd said to Yo'av and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Yashar'el from Be`er Sheva even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

1 Chronicles 21:3
And Yo'av answered, YaHuWaH make his people a hundred times so many more as they be: but, my adoniy the king, are they not all my adoniy's servants? Why then does my adoniy require this thing? Why will he be a cause of trespass to Yashar'el?

1 Chronicles 21:4
Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Yo'av. Wherefore Yo'av departed, and went throughout all Yashar'el, and came to Yerushalayim.

1 Chronicles 21:5
And Yo'av gave the sum of the number of the people unto Daviyd. And all they of Yashar'el were a thousand thousand and a hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Yahuwdah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.

1 Chronicles 21:6
But Leviy and Binyamiyn counted he not among them: for the king's word was abominable to Yo'av.

1 Chronicles 21:7
And Elohiym was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Yashar'el.

1 Chronicles 21:8
And Daviyd said unto Elohiym, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech you, do away the iniquity of your servant; for I have done very foolishly.

1 Chronicles 21:16
And Daviyd lifted up his eyes, and saw the Angel of YaHuWaH stand between the Earth and the heavens, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Yerushalayim. Then Daviyd and the elders of Yashar'el, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

1 Chronicles 21:17
And Daviyd said unto Elohiym, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? Even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? Let your hand, I pray you, O YaHuWaH Elohai, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on your people, that they should be plagued.

1 Chronicles 21:1-17

We have read from Elohiym's Word. Let us get a bit more of it from the Spirit of Prophecy.

Intercourse with heathen peoples led to a desire to follow their national customs and kindled ambition for worldly greatness. As the people of YaHuWaH, Yashar'el was to be honored; but as pride and self-confidence increased, the (Israelites) Yashar'eliym were not content with this pre-eminence. They cared rather for their standing among other nations. This spirit could not fail to invite temptation. With a view to extending his conquests among foreign nations, David determined to increase his army by requiring military service from all who were of proper age. To effect this, it became necessary to take a census of the population. It was pride and ambition that prompted this action of the king. The numbering of the people would show the contrast between the weakness of the kingdom when David ascended the throne and its strength and prosperity under his rule. This would tend still further to foster the already too great self-confidence of both king and people. The Scripture says, “Satan stood up against Yashar'el, and provoked David to number Yashar'el.” The prosperity of Yashar'el under David had been due to the blessing of Elohiym rather than to the ability of her king or the strength of her armies. But the increasing of the military resources of the kingdom would give the impression to surrounding nations that Yashar'el's trust was in her armies, and not in the power of YaHuWaH.

Though the people of Yashar'el were proud of their national greatness, they did not look with favor upon David's plan for so greatly extending the military service. The proposed enrollment caused much dissatisfaction; consequently it was thought necessary to employ the military officers in place of the priests and magistrates, who had formerly taken the census. The object of the undertaking was directly contrary to the principles of a theocracy. Even Joab remonstrated, unscrupulous as he had heretofore shown himself. He said, “ YaHuWaH make His people a hundred times so many more as they be: but, my "lord" master the king, are they not all my Adonai's servants? why then doth my "lord" master require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Yashar'el? Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Yashar'el, and came to Yerushalayim.” The numbering was not finished when David was convicted of his sin. Self-condemned, he “said unto Elohiym, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech Thee, do away the iniquity of Thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.” The next morning a message was brought to David by the prophet Gad: “Thus saith YaHuWaH, ...

E. G. White - Patriarchs & Prophets; Chap. 73; pp 746-747

The Bible cautions all of us that "things of the Spirit of Elohiym ... are spiritually discerned". 1 Corinthians 2:14.

This is the challenge BAS faced in parsing this topic. They were more carnally or shall we say, academically minded. Such stance would never yield helpful or accurate results.

The Bible in Shemoth (Exodus), says that YaHuWaH hardened Pharaoh's heart. Then the Bible followed that Pharaoh hardened his own heart. When we read the Bible, it helps to know that the Creator is 'Righteous'. When we make our decisions as free moral agents, Elohiym is obliged to accept our decisions. If they are contrary to His will, He is constrained to react according to His Word. Shemoth (Exodus) 7:14; 8:15,32; 10:1

As you read through the Scriptures referenced by BAS in the quotes above, and the Spirit of Prophecy quote, you realize that Satan drives King David to err. The King makes his decision. He knows that it is contrary to express will of YaHuWaH. Elohiym never commanded it. (We challenge BAS to show one Scripture text that says that Elohiym commanded Daviyd to conduct the census). Still Daviyd ordered Joab his Defense Minister to conduct the census with a view to enlarging the Army and to boost his vanity! Joab hated the idea and told the king so. Joab, faithful for once to YaHuWaH, made a sham census by not even counting two tribes! Joab knew it was iniquity and wanted no part of it. Still, YaHuWaH had no choice, but to accept David's decision. David took responsibility for his sin. But BAS credits YaHuWaH with the sin!

Today, the world has even more belief and fear of Satan whose existence they ridicule, while having little to no interest in YaHuWaH Elohiym, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth! it is true, Satan exists. The Occult, spiritism, sorcery, astrology and their like all over the world, are direct manifestations of Satan! We shall tell you a bit more about him, even of his origins shortly. We have comprehensive information for you on this foe from both Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy, in following sections.

Finally, hear YaHuWaH Eloheinu:

If A True Prophet Speaks Contrary To Scripture, Cut Away Immediately!

  1. If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
  2. And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spoke unto you, saying, Let us go after other elohiym, which you have not known, and let us serve them;
  3. You shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for YaHuWaH Elohaykem proves you, to know whether ye love YaHuWaH Elohaykem with all your heart and with all your soul.
  4. Ye shall walk after YaHuWaH Elohaykem, and fear him, and guard his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
  5. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he has spoken to turn you away from YaHuWaH Elohaykem, which brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust you out of the way which YaHuWaH Elohayka commanded you to walk in. So shall you put the evil away from the midst of you.
Devariym (Deuteronomy) 13:1-5 Cepher

King Daviyd knew this perfectly. Numbering the people is no sin. In a theocracy that Yashar'el was, a census required YaHuWaH's express command. And, if the motive is also contrary to Elohiym, then trouble looms. YaHuWaH will never deny Himself, as BAS alludes!

These were they that were numbered of the families of the Qohathiym, all that might do service in the Tabernacle of the assembly, which Mosheh and Aharon did number according to the commandment of YaHuWaH by the hand of Mosheh.

The personal existence of a spirit of evil is clearly revealed in Scripture; but the revelation is made gradually, in accordance with the progressiveness of Elohiym's method. In the first entrance of evil into the world, the temptation is referred only to the serpent. In the book of Iyob (Job), we find, for the first time, a distinct mention of "Satan," the "Adversary," of Iyob (Job). But it is important to remark the emphatic stress laid on his subordinate position, on the absence of all, but delegated power, ...

The New Testament brings plainly forward the power and the influence of Satan. From the beginning of the Gospel, when he appears as the personal tempter of our lord Master, ....

Smith's Bible Dictionary; Article: Satan.

Surely, at this point, you are beginning to know more about this not-so-mysterious character or phenomenon called Satan. Contrary to what the world, under Satan's control, wants you to believe, Satan is not make-believe. The Bible is full of every information we need to ensure we are not misled or confused about him: his origins, strengths, weaknesses and mission.

From the two Scripture references above, we know the following:

  1. Elohiym Created "Heylel", who became "Satan". He created him perfect and full of beauty. Endowed him with power. Placed him in leadership over the rest of the Angels in Heaven at the time.
  2. He has not always been the 'Adversary'. He was called "Heylel" in YeshaYahuw 14:12. Some have mistakenly interpreted the word 'Heylel' as "Lucifer". It is not. He was also known as "Gadriy'el". (Enoch 69:6-7). He is also described as the 'Covering Cherub (Keruv)'. Meaning that he was the at least among the Angels on permanent guard around the Throne of YaHuWaH.
  3. Concerning the name 'Lucifer', it is not in the Bible. You make ask, 'how so?' After all, there are 'Luciferians' who worship Satan! Like "Jehovah's Witnesses", they are worshiping what isn't, what they do not know! So sad and painful. But, let us explain it just a bit in the next segments.
  4. ...
  5. He was created perfect until 'iniquity' was found in him. (Yechezki'el 28:14-15). He was an inhabitant of Heaven.
  6. He led an insurrection with a third of the Angels of Heaven. The rebellion left Elohiym with no alternative but to banish them from Heaven, temporarily, pending their ultimate annihilation.
  7. At a point in time, he was 'cast out' of Heaven. We shall learn later from the Spirit of Prophecy that this event took place before the world was made. He was not 'cast out' into the Earth. For the Earth was not in existence when he was 'cast out' the first time. There was a second 'casting out'. This was at Satan's last appearance in the heavenly Council of 'Adams' with Elohiym, after Calvary.
  8. He was endowed with the very best of everything that his Creator, YaHuWshuaH conceived. He was full of beauty and strength.
  9. He was in Eden! The Garden of Elohiym. What did he do there? Deceive Chuwah (Eve) who had little to no difficulty persuading her husband 'Adam' to join her in 'rebellion'.
  10. He was not invented by Bible Writers or us. No, he is not make-believe. He was created the same way that Man was created by the same Creator, albeit, at different times.
  11. He is not omnipotent, not omnipresent, and certainly not omniscient. He only does what he is allowed to do. Once an Angel of Heaven, he is naturally stronger than Man. For the Bible says that Man was made a little "lower than the Angels" Ivriym (Hebrews) 2:7 (KJV).
  12. He hatched a plan to overthrow the Creator. Take over the Earth and use the Earth as the 'proving ground' for his rebellious principles and government. The execution of the Plan began with the overthrow of Adam. That went off very successfully! Following that success, he earned the 'right' to represent the Earth during every Universal Meeting of the Leaders of other Worlds with the Creator and Angels in Heaven. Each World had to be represented by their 'Adam'. Since Earth's Adam handed over to 'Heylel', also called "Gadriy'el", and became subject to death, Gadriy'el usurped the position of our Adam, albeit, for a short while until Calvary! Thank YaHuWaH for Calvary. At Calvary, the price for Adam's sin was paid and Earth was redeemed from Satan. YaHuWshuaH consequently became our Adam and today, represents Earth in the Heavenly meetings. HalleluYah.
  13. A major part of the 'Plan' is to put himself in place of Elohiym on Earth after overthrowing Adam. To be 'Elohiym' to the Earth! The Bible confirms he actually became 'prince' over the Earth.('prince of the devils - MattithYahuw 12:24', 'prince of this world - Yahuwchanon 16:11, 12:31, 14:30'; 'prince of the kings of the Earth - Chizayon (Revelation) 1:5').
  14. He will take over the "Church", Elohiym's Called-out Ones. YeshaYahuw 14:13. Do you need evidence that he has the 'church' in his stranglehold today? Fortunately, to Elohiym, there is a Remnant who would not bow the knee to Ba'al. HalleluYah. Amein.
  15. He filled the world with violence and iniquity. Imprisoned humanity and won't let them out of his prison (the grave)!
  16. But his end has been fixed. The weapon for his distruction is inside of him! Same for the Angels who lost their place in Heaven with 'Heylel'.

The Bible reveals a great deal more about this 'Adversary'. We have only summarized things above to fit into the scope of this page. But, better familiarity with the Bible will provide you with more details about the Adversary than we are indicating here.

Satan | Expulsion From Heaven

  1. And there appeared another wonder in Heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
  2. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of Heaven, and did cast them to the Earth:...
  3. ...
  4. ...
  5. And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his Angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his Angels,
  6. And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in Heaven.
  7. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the Earth, and his Angels were cast out with him.
  8. And I heard a loud voice saying in Heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our Elohiym, and the power of his Mashiyach: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our Elohiym day and night.
Revelation 12:3-10 KJV
  1. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the Earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Revelation 12:12 KJV

Yahuwshuah | Defense Attorney; Satan | Prosecutor / Accuser

  1. And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of YaHuWaH, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
  2. And YaHuWaH said unto Satan, YaHuWaH rebuke thee, O Satan; even YaHuWaH that hath chosen Yerushalayim rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
  3. Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the Angel.
  4. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
  5. And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the Angel of the YaHuWaH stood by.
ZekarYahuw 3:1-5 KJV

In his rebellion against Elohiym in Heaven, he managed to persuade a full one third of the Angels of Elohiym to take his side in the Great Controversy! When therefore he was expelled from Heaven, the one third of the Angels were expelled with him! If this Adversary was able to have so much success deceiving Angels, what chance does a mere man have against this wily foe? Revelation proclaims woe upon the Earth because Earth has become Satan's residence! He has great wrath against you and me, especially if and when we resist him.

Notice also, the role he was playing in Heaven before his final expulsion. Seen in the text from ZekarYahuw 3 above, he was vociferously announcing all of Joshua's sins to everyone in Heaven. Arguing that Joshua then has become his property and subject and undeserving of acceptance into Heaven. Also, notice that YaHuWshuaH steps in and defends Joshua the High Priest. Joshua was a symbol for you and me. Every time we are similarly accused, our Redeemer steps in to our defense. He orders our filth taken away; our filthy garments replaced with one that He himself sewed for us; and declares us fit for Heaven. HalleluYah. Amein.

During his attempt to overthrow Ben Elohiym, YaHuWshuaH haMashiyach, just like he did with our first Adam, satan demanded worship from his Creator! Have a look at the picture below.

  1. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
  2. And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
  3. Then saith YaHuWshuaH unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YaHuWaH thy Elohiym, and him only shalt thou serve.
  4. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, Angels came and ministered unto him.
MattithYahuw 4:8-11 KJV

The same grounds on which our first Adam failed miserably, YaHuWshuaH won resoundingly. Tempted with Bread. Adam failed, YaHuWshuaH won. Tempted with distrust of our Father YaHuWaH, Adam failed, YaHuWshuaH won. Finally, tempted with wealth and glory, fake and deceptive glory, Adam failed but our second Adam, YaHuWshuaH haMashiyach won, resoundingly, to the everlasting glory of the Father.

Not surprisingly, Satan is using the same tack with men today. He shows them the luxuries of life: buildings, cars, private aeroplanes, money, power, creature comforts, and says, "all these will I give you if you shall obey me". In may be more than 95% of the time, we yield and worship him!

Tragedy is that what he is promising in exchange for our 'worshiping' him are already ours! Elohiym already gave us all and more than those. His promises are 'yeah and Amein'. What Satan 'promised' YaHuWshuaH, also, was YaHuWshuaH's. YaHuWshuaH is Creator of Heaven and Earth. What audacity was Satan's to pretend to give the Creator, what is the Creator's. But, he approached the Savior at the Savior's apparent moment of 'physical weakness' after forty days of dry fasting. Still the Savior triumphed over him. He comes to us, at the moments of our apparent 'weakness', penniless, ill, unemployed, bereaved, or some other condition. At such times, many of us fail to see beyond the moment to the glory that is ours by promise. And we succumb to Satan's wiles! We give him worship that does not belong to him in exchange for what he does not have to give! We give him worship that belongs only to Elohiym for the things which Elohiym has given us! How ridiculous! How shameful!

Satan | Personal Name

  1. The name of the third is Gadriy'el: ....
  2. He seduced Chuah (Eve); ....
Chanok (Enoch) 69: 6-7 Cepher

Gadriy'el is the name and word from which the word 'god', pronounced 'gad' derived! 'God' is Satan's personal name. Where you find it in a Bible, there is another evidence of the satanic plan to overthrow the Creator. With advancing light, Bible publishers who in the past were ignorant of this fact and truth, are expected to expunge it totally and replace with it 'Elohiym', or 'El' and where the context allows, with 'YaHuWaH', the personal Name of our Creator. Gadriy'el was the name Satan was known by in antediluvian times. In postdiluvian times, it appears that he became known also as "Heylel". In biblical times people tended to have names which captured something of certain circumstances of their lives. Abram became Abraham; Ya'akov (Jacob) became Yashar'el; Kepha was also Simon; Yahuwchanon was also the son of thunder. Gadriy'el was Satan's heavenly name. But due to his career on Earth, it seems he acquired another name "Heylel" meaning the "howling son of the morning"!

The name Lucifer was inserted in the text by Bishop Eusebius of Vercelli when he was producing the Latin Vulgate Bible, during his stay in Antioch. He was in Antioch during the quarrel between Bishop Meletius of Antioch and the new Bishop, Bishop Paulinus consecrated by Bishop Lucifer who himself recently arrived Antioch after being banished from his See in Cagliari by Emperor Constantius II. Bishop Lucifer's action caused great schism in Antioch and was condemned by Bishop Eusebius. When Eusebius encountered the Hebrew word 'Heylel' he could not understand it. The word is used only once in all the Bible. He saw Bishop Lucifer as a trouble-maker, it seemed. So, he substituted the latin word Lucifer in place of the Hebrew word 'Heylel'. It was neither a translation nor a transliteration. So he rendered YeshaYahuw 14:12 as: “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”. "Lucifer" is the latin word for 'light bearer'. It seemed also to harmonize with the 'son of the morning' part of the text he was wrestling with.

Let us take a look specifically at the word הילל "heylel", which was the word interpreted by Eusebius as "Lucifer". Succeeding Bible translations such as the 1599 GNV, 1611 KJV, NKJV, DRA, and WYC, rendered it "Lucifer". ASB, ESV, ISV, Message, rendered it "day-star". While AMP, CEB, CJB, NASB, NIV rendered it "morning star". Only the Orthodox Jewish Bible and Eth Cepher set forth the name as it is: "Heylel"; spelt "Heilel" by the OJB.

It is worth noting that the word הילל, "heylel" (Strong's word number H1966, appears only once in Scripture, and as a result, we see a construct which is assumed to arise from the hebrew root (הָלַל) "halal", which is Strong's word number H1984, meaning "to shine", which of course then lends to the conclusion that the word "heylel" should be described as the shining one, which then becomes the "morning star", or the "day star". But the word for star in the Hebrew is כּוֹכָב "kokav", which is Strong's word number H3556. "Kokav" is not in the text.

However, the use of the letter "heh" ה is often a prefix, meaning "the". If this is the case in the use of the word הילל "heylel", this creates the word "h'yalael" spelled הילל. This gives us the word the "yalal" יָלַל, which itself is Strong's Word Number H3213, meaning "the howling". Therefore, the passage should read: "How are you fallen from heaven, the howling son of morning!" how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!

While we could have said that, we elected to use both meanings of the word, giving us the verse as it appears in Eth Cepher. "Heylel, son of the howling morning!"

However, EPMMI believes that truth will be better served in this case, to render it as "Heylel, the howling son of morning!" This is so, because no one is sure if "heylel" is a just a word or a name. The rendering will be different in either case. If it is a name, it will render: "heylel, son of the morning". But if it is just a word, it will render "the howling son of the morning". consequently, not being certain, it is the safe thing to do to have both renderings since doing so, does not introduce error. For EPMMI therefore, it should read: "heylel, the howling son of the morning".

EPMMI has an issue with Eth Cepher's rendering "Heylel, son of the howling morning!". We are not at all sure how 'morning' can 'howl'. A human or animal can 'howl'. But how does a 'morning' howl? Again, this is why EPMMI prefers "Heylel, the howling son of the morning".

"Lucifer" does not exist in the Bible.

Heylel (Lucifer) in heaven, before his rebellion, was a high and exalted Angel, next in honor to Elohiym's dear Son. His countenance, like those of the other Angels, was mild and expressive of happiness. His forehead was high and broad, showing a powerful intellect. His form was perfect; his bearing noble and majestic. A special light beamed in his countenance and shone around him brighter and more beautiful than around the other Angels; yet Mashiyach, Elohiym's dear Son, had the pre-eminence over all the angelic host. He was one with the Father before the Angels were created. — The Story of Redemption, 13.

Heylel (Lucifer) was the covering cherub, the most exalted of the heavenly created beings; he stood nearest the throne of Elohiym, and was most closely connected and identified with the administration of Elohiym's government, most richly endowed with the glory of His majesty and power. — The Signs of the Times, April 28, 1890.

YaHuWaH Himself gave to Satan his glory and wisdom, and made him the covering cherub, good, noble, and exceeding lovely. — The Signs of the Times, September 18, 1893.

Among the inhabitants of heaven, Satan, next to Mashiyach, was at one time most honored of Elohiym, and highest in power and glory. — The Signs of the Times, July 23, 1902.

Heylel (Lucifer), the “son of the morning,” in glory surpassing all the Angels that surround the throne, ... [was] united in closest ties to the Son of Elohiym. — The Desire of Ages, 435.

Heylel (Lucifer), “son of the morning,” was first of the covering cherubs, holy and undefiled. He stood in the presence of the great Creator, and the ceaseless beams of glory enshrouding the eternal Elohiym rested upon him. — Patriarchs and Prophets, 35.

He [Heylel] had been the highest of all created beings, and had been foremost in revealing Elohiym's purposes to the universe. — The Desire of Ages, 758.

E. G. White; The Truth About Angels, p.27-28

Though Elohiym had created Heylel (Lucifer) noble and beautiful, and had exalted him to high honor among the angelic host, yet He had not placed him beyond the possibility of evil. It was in Satan's power, did he choose to do so, to pervert these gifts. He might have remained in favor with Elohiym, beloved and honored by all the angelic throng, presiding in his exalted position with generous, unselfish care, exercising his noble powers to bless others and to glorify his Maker. But, little by little, he began to seek his own honor, and to employ his powers to attract attention and win praise to himself. He also gradually led the Angels over whom he ruled to do him service, instead of devoting all their powers to the service of their Creator. — The Spirit of Prophecy vol. 4, p.317.

E. G. White; The Truth About Angels, p.31
Satan was once an honored Angel in Heaven, next to Mashiyach. His countenance, like those of the other Angels, was mild and expressive of happiness. His forehead was high and broad, showing great intelligence. His form was perfect; his bearing noble and majestic. But when Elohiym said to His Son, “Let us make man in our image,” Satan was jealous of YaHuWshuaH. He wished to be consulted concerning the formation of man, and because he was not, he was filled with envy, jealousy, and hatred. He desired to receive the highest honors in Heaven next to Elohiym.

Words & Works of Satan Repeated in the World.

Before Heylel (Lucifer) was banished from heaven, he sought to abolish the law of Elohiym. He claimed that the unfallen intelligences of holy heaven had no need of law, but were capable of governing themselves and of preserving unspotted integrity. Heylel (Lucifer) was the covering cherub, the most exalted of the heavenly created beings; he stood nearest the throne of Elohiym, and was most closely connected and identified with the administration of Elohiym's government, most richly endowed with the glory of his majesty and power. The prophet writes of his exaltation, saying: “Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so; thou wast upon the holy mountain of Elohiym; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.”

The Angels had been created full of goodness and love. They loved one another impartially and their Elohiym supremely, and they were prompted by this love to do his pleasure. The law of Elohiym was not a grievous yoke to them, but it was their delight to do his commandments, to hearken unto the voice of his word. But in this state of peace and purity, sin originated with him who had been perfect in all his ways. The prophet writes of him: “Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness.” Sin is a mysterious, unexplainable thing. There was no reason for its existence; to seek to explain it is to seek to give a reason for it, and that would be to justify it. Sin appeared in a perfect universe, a thing that was shown to be inexcusable and exceeding sinful. The reason of its inception or development was never explained and never can be, even at the last great day when the judgment shall sit and the books be opened, when every man shall be judged according to the deeds done in the body, when the sins of Elohiym's repentant, sanctified people shall be heaped upon the scapegoat, the originator of sin. At that day it will be evident to all that there is not, and never was, any cause for sin. At the final condemnation of Satan and his Angels and of all men who have finally identified themselves with him as transgressors of Elohiym's law, every mouth will be stopped. When the hosts of rebellion, from the first great rebel to the last transgressor, are asked why they have broken the law of Elohiym, they will be speechless. There will be no answer to give, no reason to assign that will carry the least weight.

The change from perfection of character to sin and defection did come even in heaven. Lucifer's Heylel's heart was lifted up because of his beauty, his wisdom was corrupted by reason of his brightness. ... Satan declared that he had no need of the restraints of law, that he was holy, sinless, and incapable of doing evil; and those who boast of holiness and a state of sinlessness, while transgressing the law of Elohiym, while willfully trampling under-foot the Sabbath of YaHuWaH, are allied on the side of the first great rebel. If the sanctified, holy Angels became unsanctified and unholy by disobedience to Elohiym's law, and their place was no longer found in heaven, think you that men, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, will be received into glory who break the precepts of that law which Mashiyach came to magnify and make honorable by his death upon the cross? Adam and Eve were in possession of Eden, and they fell from their high and holy estate by transgression of Elohiym's law, and forfeited their right to the tree of life and to the joys of Eden.

Satan had told them that they were under restriction, under bondage to the law, and that they might be free and independent by disregarding the divine prohibition concerning the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He informed them that they would be as the Angels if they would but partake of its fruit, for they would then be able to discern both good and evil. But what Angels would they be like? — Not holy Angels, but like the Angels who had left their first estate, who were reserved under everlasting chains unto the judgment of the great day. The holy pair had received the positive word of Elohiym in regard to what they should do, but they presumed on Elohiym's mercy, and ate of the forbidden fruit.

Is not the story of the fall repeated by thousands of lips today, and even from the pulpit do we not hear the words of the tempter, “Thou shalt not surely die”? Is not the law of Elohiym represented as a yoke of bondage which men are free to violate as they choose? Satan insinuated to Adam and Eve that they might reach a higher, happier state by violation of the divine command, and today the same falsehood is spread through the world, even by those who claim to be sanctified. Do not these who claim sanctification while violating the commands of Elohiym, become a false and fatal sign to the world? Do they not say to the sinner, “It shall be well with thee”? YaHuWaH has defined sin as the transgression of his law, but they say they are saved in sin, and thus make Mashiyach the Minister of sin. These professed Natsariym are doing the very work that Satan did in Paradise, they are leading souls astray by precept and example. They say to the sinner, to the transgressor, It shall be well with thee; you will rise to a higher, holier state by violating the law of Elohiym. The lesson that is heard throughout the land is, “Disobey and live.” But how different is this teaching from the lessons of Mashiyach. He declared: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and Earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

If the law of Elohiym should relinquish its claims upon men, if its restraints were removed, the result would be a state of society in which lawlessness would be rife, and our world would be in a condition similar to that which existed before the flood, which brought down on the Earth the wrath of Elohiym. If the law of Elohiym could have been changed, or altered in one of its statutes, it would have been so altered when sin originated in heaven, when the brightest son of the morning, who was good, noble, and lovely above all the beings that Elohiym had created, found fault with the precepts of that law in the counsels of Angels. If ever a change was to have been made, it would have been accomplished when rebellion revealed itself in heaven, and so have prevented the great apostasy of the Angels. The fact that no change was made in Elohiym's administration, even when the most exalted of the Angels drew away from allegiance to Elohiym's law, is evidence enough to reasonable minds that the law, the foundation of Elohiym's government, will not relax its claims to save the willful transgressor.

Satan and his followers were expelled from heaven in consequence of rebellion, and the spirit of the evil one now works in the children of disobedience; ... they speak of the law as a yoke of bondage, and picture the liberty of him who disregards its claims, as a state of holiness and sanctification. Those who claim holiness and make a boast that they cannot sin, though at the same time living in transgression of the law, are in the same condition as the Angels that sinned in heaven. They make great pretensions to the favor of Heaven, claim to possess exalted knowledge of spiritual things, while they go on in reckless disregard of the word of YaHuWaH.

Satan deceives and corrupts the world and makes men believe that they are sinless and holy while sinning against Elohiym, but in so doing he is only carrying on his original work. He has introduced no new arguments, he has created no new empire of darkness from which to draw supplies for the furtherance of his deceptions. And sin that was sin in the beginning is sin today; and sin, the apostle declares, is the transgression of Elohiym's law. In these days it is Satan's determined purpose to intensify sin by making it legal in the children of disobedience. He is to reveal to the world and to heaven what is the order and result of a government carried on according to his ideas of administration and law. He is working with secret yet with intense zeal in both Church and State, to cause men to throw off all the restraints of Elohiym's law, and take a decided stand with him in the ranks of rebellion; but when his work is accomplished, YaHuWaH will interpose, and vindicate his honor as the supreme Ruler of the universe.

In The Bible & Spirit of Prophecy

It is appropriate at this point to ask the question, 'what are the strengths and abilities of this wonderful being'? There is no question, he is a spectacular being. A being who would take on the omnipotent Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. A being responsible for bringing death into our world and unto trillions of men since Man was placed on the Earth! A being in command of hundreds of millions of captive Angels, fallen Angels.

It is not possible to express Satan's power in kilotonnes or Megatonnes as in nuclear weapons. But notice the rapidity with which he wiped out Job's economy. Notice how he resisted the Angel Gavriy'el (Gabriel) who replaced him in Heaven as the new 'Covering Cherub' for twenty-one days, during the 'conflict' over the soul of the king of Persia and the longevity of the Persian Kingdom (Daniy'el 10:12-13). See how easily he rallied the Yahuwdiy nation to intimidate Pilate into executing the Son of Man, the Son of Elohiym, YaHuWshuaH haNatsri. Notice how strong his hold has been over what is called the 'Church'. So strong a hold that the Creator is today a total Stranger in the 'Church' that He founded!

But it is important to remark the emphatic stress laid on his subordinate position, on the absence of all, but delegated power, ...

Smith's Bible Dictionary; Article: Satan.

As the battle between good and evil reaches its climax, every person on Earth will have to make a choice for or against Elohiym. What are the issues, and how may we stand firm for what is right?

From the very beginning of the Great Controversy in Heaven it has been Satan's purpose to overthrow the law of Elohiym. It was to accomplish this that he entered upon his rebellion against the Creator, and though he was cast out of Heaven he has continued the same warfare upon the Earth. To deceive men, and thus lead them to transgress Elohiym's law, is the object which he has steadfastly pursued. Whether this be accomplished by casting aside the law altogether, or by rejecting one of its precepts, the result will be ultimately the same. He that offends “in one point,” manifests contempt for the whole law; his influence and example are on the side of transgression; he becomes “guilty of all.” James 2:10.

In seeking to cast contempt upon the divine statutes, Satan has perverted the doctrines of the Bible, and errors have thus become incorporated into the faith of thousands who profess to believe the Scriptures. The last great conflict between truth and error is but the final struggle of the long-standing controversy concerning the law of Elohiym. Upon this battle we are now entering — a battle between the laws of men and the precepts of YaHuWaH, between the religion of the Bible and the religion of fable and tradition.

E. G. White, "Darkness Before Dawn", p.28

Sadly, not many folks are familiar with the 'Great Controversy'. In simple language, we may dare define the 'Great Controversy' as the Conflict between YaHuWshuaH and Satan; between good and evil; between the righteous and the wicked. It is a war that began in Heaven and raging on Earth to this very day. A war aimed at determining which is better or even just good, A Kingdom of righteousness or one of evil and lawlessness. Elohiym says that His creation needs laws for peace and serenity. Satan insists that creation does not need any laws! On which side are you? In this war, like most wars, there are rules of engagement. There are rules that prohibit Elohiym and His Army from being in certain places, taking certain actions or interventions, etc. Same for Satan and his Army. They are prohibited from treading on certain grounds, taking any action against certain persons and places and circumstances. Our Creator is bound by His honor and glory to abide by the rules. Satan is bound by the Creator's power from breaching the rules. Satan can do nothing except that he is permitted to do so. Permission is required only in those instances when Elohiym knows that that it is the only way to work the redemption of His own. Satan does not need any permission to deal with his own in any way he sees or deems fit.

Satan was never able to get anywhere near Job or Job's economy. But, when it was necessary to prove Job's faithfulness and loyalty to his King, Satan was permitted to hit Job. And, you could feel the alacrity with which Satan attacked Job and the fiendish delight he had doing it. He was not allowed to take Job's life. Regardless of the extent of Satan's power, it could not suffice to take Job's life. (Job 1 ff).

There is not enough time or space on this page to detail more instances of the limits of satanic power. But let us take a little liberty to discuss what happened at the Tomb where YaHuWshuaH rested after His crucifixion.

Again sadly, a lot of folks have been blinded by the Adversary from seeing and appropriating their estate in the Spirit of Prophecy. Without bothering to introduce the Spirit of Prophecy here, let us see a bit of this stupendous situation through the eyes of the Spirit of Prophecy.

Conspiracy against YaHuWshuaH In the Grave

They (Yahuwdiy Leaders) could rest little upon the Sabbath. Though they would not step over a Gentile's threshold for fear of defilement, yet they held a council concerning the body of HaMashiyach (Mashiyach). Death and the grave must hold Him whom they had crucified. “The chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night, and steal Him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.” MattithYahuw 27:62-65.

The priests gave directions for securing the sepulcher. A great stone had been placed before the opening. Across this stone they placed cords, securing the ends to the solid rock, and sealing them with the Roman seal. The stone could not be moved without breaking the seal. A guard of one hundred soldiers was then stationed around the sepulcher to prevent it from being tampered with. The priests did all they could to keep HaMashiyach's body where it had been laid. He was sealed as securely in His tomb as if He were to remain there through all time.

So weak men counseled and planned. Little did these murderers realize the uselessness of their efforts. But by their action Elohiym was glorified. The very efforts made to prevent HaMashiyach's resurrection are the most convincing arguments in its proof. The greater the number of soldiers placed around the tomb, the stronger would be the testimony that He had risen. Hundreds of years before the death of Mashiyach, the Holy Spirit Ruach haQodesh had declared through the psalmist, “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the Earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord YaHuWaH, and against His anointed.... He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord YaHuWaH shall have them in derision.” Psalm 2:1-4. Roman guards and Roman arms were powerless to confine the Lord Master of life within the tomb. The hour of His release was near.

E. G. White, 'In Joseph's Tomb; Desire of Ages', pp 777, 778

YaHuWshuaH Conquers Death and the Grave

The night of the first day of the week had wore slowly away. The darkest hour, just before daybreak, had come. Mashiyach was still a prisoner in His narrow tomb. The great stone was in its place; the Roman seal was unbroken; the Roman guards were keeping their watch. And there were unseen watchers. Hosts of evil Angels were gathered about the place. Had it been possible, the prince of darkness with his apostate army would have kept forever sealed the tomb that held the Son of Elohiym. But a heavenly host surrounded the sepulcher. Angels that excel in strength were guarding the tomb, and waiting to welcome the Prince of life.

“And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the Angel of the Lord YaHuWaH descended from Heaven.” Clothed with the panoply of Elohiym, this Angel left the heavenly courts. The bright beams of God's Elohiym's glory went before him, and illuminated his pathway. “His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: and for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.”

Now, priests and rulers, where is the power of your guard? Brave soldiers that have never been afraid of human power are now as captives taken without sword or spear. The face they look upon is not the face of mortal warrior; it is the face of the mightiest of the Lord's YaHuWaH's host. This messenger is he who fills the position from which Satan fell. It is he who on the hills of Bethlehem proclaimed Mashiyach's birth. The Earth trembles at his approach, the hosts of darkness flee, and as he rolls away the stone, Heaven seems to come down to the Earth. The soldiers see him removing the stone as he would a pebble, and hear him cry, Son of God Elohiym, come forth; Thy Father calls Thee. They see Jesus YaHuWshuaH come forth from the grave, and hear Him proclaim over the rent sepulcher, “I am the resurrection, and the life.” As He comes forth in majesty and glory, the Angel host bow low in adoration before the Redeemer, and welcome Him with songs of praise.

An earthquake marked the hour when Mashiyach laid down His life, and another earthquake witnessed the moment when He took it up in triumph. He who had vanquished death and the grave came forth from the tomb with the tread of a conqueror, amid the reeling of the Earth, the flashing of lightning, and the roaring of thunder.

E. G. White, 'Desire of Ages', In Joseph's Tomb; , pp 779, 780

Satan deputized his Angels to guard the Tomb to ensure no resurrection. The Roman Government stationed a legion of troops to guard the tomb. The tomb was sealed with a Roman Seal. The Savior was, for their sakes and intents, to remain in the tomb forever! But without even wielding a weapon of any kind, Satan's Angels fled as Gavriy'el approached. The Roman legion became comatose! The Savior heard the Angel Gavriy'el's voice, walked out of the tomb in majesty. That friend is the limit of Satan's power. Indeed, he has none. A human soldier will execute a man condemned by the law. The soldier's power is the law. Satan's power is to the extent of the permission given him. But, over his subjects, he has enormous power. Satan has more power than a category 100 hurricane! But he cannot exercise it over anyone bearing the Name of the Creator: YaHuWaH.

Believe or not, Satan is cowardly. When he stationed his Angels to ensure the Savior does not come out of the tomb, he left them alone, and went away. I believe he knew something that his Angels did not know. He feared for his life. But, read this:

"When YaHuWshuaH was laid in the grave, Satan triumphed. He dared to hope that the Savior would not take up His life again. He claimed YaHuWshuaH's body, and set his guard about the tomb, seeking to hold HaMashiyach a prisoner. He was bitterly angry when his Angels fled at the approach of the heavenly messenger. When he saw HaMashiyach come forth in triumph, he knew that his kingdom would have an end, and that he must finally die".

We may ask the question: "Why is Satan on Earth and how did he get here"? Why is he not confined to Mars, or Jupiter or Saturn, for example?

You may be aware that When Satan was expelled from Heaven, Earth and the 'solar system' had not been created. It is also pertinent here, to remind ourselves that it was the decision that the Father and the Son in Heaven made to create Man, that sparked Heylel's revolt in Heaven!

E. G. White, 'Early Writings', The Fall of Satan; p. 145

Satan watched YaHuWshuaH create the Heavens and the Earth. He was watching when Man was created. It took no stretch for him and his Army of fallen Angels to decide to enlist Man to their cause!

When Adam and Eve were placed in the beautiful garden, Satan was laying plans to destroy them. In no way could this happy couple be deprived of their happiness if they obeyed Elohiym. Satan could not exercise his power upon them unless they should first disobey Elohiym and forfeit His favor. Some plan must therefore be devised to lead them to disobedience that they might incur Elohiym's frown and be brought under the more direct influence of Satan and his Angels. It was decided that Satan should assume another form and manifest an interest for man. He must insinuate against Elohiym's truthfulness and create doubt whether Elohiym did mean just what He said; next, he must excite their curiosity, and lead them to pry into the unsearchable plans of Elohiym — the very sin of which Satan had been guilty — and reason as to the cause of His restrictions in regard to the tree of knowledge.

E. G. White, 'Early Writings'; The Fall of Satan; p. 146

All space under Heaven was and remain available to Satan to roam in. He is as comfortable in the Sun as on the Moon. The Earth is within his territorial claims. However, Earth became the sole theater of his life and activities because, here is the only place he can plausibly work to save his life and those of his Angels. They could achieve this if they could enlist Adam and his descendants. If he could at any time have every being on Earth on his side, he would declare victory in the Great Controversy, claim the Earth for himself. Elohiym, bound by His Own honor, would have no way of getting around that. But, unfortunately for Satan, there never was a day or minute on Earth when he has been able to achieve the plan. At every day and moment, Elohiym always had men, often few, who remain loyal to him completely.

Ultimately, the idea is for Satan to convince the entire Universe that lawlessness is better for all creation. That Elohiym's law is a restraint and inconvenient and incapable of leading to creation's happiness. On the Contrary, YaHuWshuaH is working to convince the Universe that it is impossible for creation to be without Law. No government can long continue without laws. Creation will self-destruct without restraining laws. The Law is for the good of Heaven and Earth.

Every one of us is making a decision every moment of our lives as to which side of the Great Controversy we are on. Are you on the side of Order or on the side of lawlessness?

There is another question we may wish to ask: "Where on Earth does Satan live? Where is his abode, residence or quarters? Where might a seeker find him?"

First off, Satan is not flesh. He is spirit; a mighty Angel. He leads myriads of Angels. Spirits are created to be invisible to normal human eyes. They are not subject to the elements and in fact when allowed to do so, are capable of full control of the elements. Satan, like every Angel, understands the languages of every plant, animal and element. He speaks to them and hears them talk back. But he is not allowed into the mind of anything or anyone. He cannot figure out a man's thoughts or unspoken words.

Many have speculated, even posited that fallen Angels dwell in the Waters. That is the source of belief in 'mermaid' existence. Others believe that what many call UFOs are actually fallen Angels. There are yet others who believe that somewhere in Antarctica, is home to alien beings, possibly the 'fallen Angels'. The issue of UFOs is considered paranormal and not readily amenable to scientific processes and procedures. Also, we do not often hear of fishermen reeling in 'mermaids' out of the water!

But what does the Bible say?

And there appeared another wonder in Heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

Revelation 12:3 Cepher

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the Earth, and his Angels were cast out with him.

Rev 12:9 Cepher

Recall that Satan was expelled from Heaven the first time, when the world had not yet been created. Though he no longer had a home or place in Heaven, he continued to have the right to visit Heaven during the Meetings of the "Adams" of the worlds with YaHuWaH. But, when Yahuwshuah ascended to Heaven after His resurrection in 31 AD, Satan was forever banned from ever entering Heaven again! This was the second and last casting out.

When Yahuwchanon the Revelator saw "another wonder in Heaven" in Heaven, it has to be in space not Heaven because he saw this Vision in 96 AD. In the context of our discussion in this section, it will appear that Satan was resident in 'space' at this time. Again, being in space means having access to the Sun, Moon and Stars and the Earth also.

  1. .., and I saw a star fall from Heaven unto the Earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
  2. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; ...
Revelation 9:1-2 Cepher

Note here that when Satan, the Dragon was thrown down, he apparently received a key to a 'Bottomless Pit'.

And they had a king over them, which is the Angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Ivriyt tongue is Abaddon, but in the Yavaniy (Greek) tongue has his name Apollyon.

Revelation 9:11 Cepher

Satan received a key to the 'Bottomless Pit' not for himself alone, but also for his subject Angels. And the Bible above described him as the 'king' of the residents of the 'Bottomless Pit'. It seems to be a place where the residents can be locked in and released at certain times. But, where is this?

  1. AND I saw an Angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
  2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
  3. And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
Revelation 20:1-3 Cepher

The above Scripture states that another Angel from Heaven at the end of Time, will come to Earth, having a Key to the same Bottomless Pit. This Angel in the context is actually the Son of Elohiym, Yahuwshuah during His Second Coming. After removing His Saints from Earth to Heaven, He destroys the Earth, and putting all the wicked to death. The Bible tells us that at that time, He, Yahuwshuah would lock Satan and his hosts up in the Bottomless Pit for a 'thousand years'. Again, where is this 'Bottomless Pit'?

We will now attempt to clear up the question of "where is the 'Bottomless Pit'?". It is clear though that the 'Pit' is a home, if not the home, for the fallen Angels.

When the Earth was made, in its earliest form, when it was actually totally 'formless', it was called the 'Bottomless Pit'.

Earth | An Abyss (Bottomless Pit)

IN the beginning Elohiym created את the heavens and את the Earth. And the Earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Ruach Elohiym moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 1:1-2 Cepher

The word 'deep' in the above verse, is Strong's Word Number H8415.

Strong's Word Number H8415 טהם Pronounced:
teho^m teho^m
teh-home', teh-home'

(Usually feminine) from H1949; an abyss (as a surging mass of water), especially the deep (the main sea or the subterranean water supply): - deep (place), depth.

Strong's

The Earth after Elohiym called it into existence, appeared formless and void. In its formless state, it was referred to as the abyss. The Bottomless Pit.
After YaHuWshuah's Second Coming, the world will become formless again. (Amos 7:4). It is the Earth in this state where Satan will be chained for a thousand years. But, before the Second Coming, what or where is the 'Bottomless Pit'? We cannot be certain. But the Earth as a whole or part of it; on the surface; or at its fiery core; in the beginning or at the Second Coming, is the Bottomless Pit.

Back to Pane Top

From the beginning of this page and at every point, something of Satan's activities on Earth have been mentioned. But, we need to have them distilled here for clarity. And to achieve this, our question here would be, "What has Satan been doing on Earth? What is he doing here now, and what might he be expected to do in the future?"

Every human experience has a component of the activities of Satan on Earth in its story. But we need not focus on individual personal experiences here. We would save a bit of space if we look generically at this point. To do so, let us look at the human condition.

Humanity's worst foe is Death. Death was Satan's first gift to humanity. Ivriym (Hebrews) 2:14 'The wages of sin is death'. When Satan leads a man to sin, the idea is to package the man for death. In this, Satan is ensuring, he takes down with him as many potential subjects of the Kingdom of Elohiym as possible. If he will not be part of it, no one else should. Like Vladimir Putin's 'doctrine', "No Russia, No Earth!". Also, as many as he is able to lure into sin, that many brings him closer to 'safety' in that he aims to lure all into sin and thus claim the world as his own. And, to Elohiym he would say, 'I won! See, no one wants the Law! They prefer me over them. Therefore, keep off!'

Have you seen wickedness, unkindness, rudeness, unfaithfulness, deceit, to mention just a few, then you are familiar with the character of Satan. All those who exhibit these traits have become like him. They have been remade in his image. Those who refuse his advances continue to have something of the character of YaHuWaH. Goodness, kindness, grace, honesty, trustworthiness, to mention a few too, are found in them. They retain the image of Elohiym in which they were created. 'By beholding, we are changed'.

War, bloodletting and strife all serve his purposes. He taught and continues to teach men war and weaponry. Why? Because, it is during these seasons that he is able to welcome many into his prison unprepared for eternity.

  1. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking Eth whom he may devour:
1 Kepha (Peter) 5:8 Eth Cepher
  1. He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohiym was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1 Yahuwchanon 3:8 Eth Cepher
  1. The name of the third is Gadriy'el; he is the one who has taught the children of men all the blows of death, and led astray Eve Chuah, and showed to the children of men the instruments of death, the coat-of-mail and the shield and the sword for battle, and all the instruments of death to the sons of men.
George H. Schode; Book of Chanok, Chapter 69:6

Armageddon

  1. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
  2. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the Earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of El Almighty.
  3. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
  4. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Revelation 16:13-16 KJV

As we speak, Satan is laser-focused on the final war. The war to end all wars. The final battle during Time, between good and evil. This war is being orchestrated as we speak, to wipe out every single child of YaHuWaH from the face of all the Earth for reasons you already know. In one night, everyone identified as a Saint is to be executed. That is right ahead of us. But on the side of the Saints will be the King of Saints, Yahuwshuah. Not one Saint will be lost in that war. That will be the last ever conflict before YaHuWshuaH's Second Coming. Visit the following pages for details, please: Daniy'el 12: 6-7, Daniy'el 12: 8, and Daniy'el 12: 11,

For clarity, the use of the word 'Saint' here bears no resemblance whatsoever to the familiar 'popular christian saints', like 'Saint (Peter) Kepha', 'Saint Augustine', etc. No, no relationship whatsoever. We use the word in the same way that the Bible uses it. Notice Revelation 14:12 Cepher "Here is the patience of the qodeshiym: here are they that guard the commandments of Elohiym, and the faith of Yahuwshuah. The word 'qodeshiym' is Hebrew word for 'Saints'".

All those who keep the Commandments of Elohiym and have the Faith of YaHuWshuaH are the "Saints". You want to ask yourself if you are one of them. Those who pick and choose which Commandment to keep, do not keep any Commandment at all. Those who depend on a Pastor or Teacher or Elder to tell them which Commandments to keep do not keep any at all. Those who depend on convenience to dictate which to keep and when to keep them, do not keep any at all! James 2:10 Cepher: "For whosoever shall guard the whole Torah, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all".

The "Faith of YaHuWshuaH", appears to be easier to have and many lay claim to having it. It is important to make sure of this very key characteristic or property you must possess to escape damnation. We shall not be doing any details here on the "Faith of YaHuWshuaH". But, we must depend on Him in the very same manner that He depended on His Father during His incarnation and subsequent passion. His Faith worked. He did things because He trusted His Father, YaHuWaH. He succeeded because he had zero trust in Himself. All His trust and confidence and power were the result of His trust in His Father YaHuWaH. Yahuwchanon 8:29 (Cepher) "And he that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him". Yahuwchanon 15:10 Cepher "If ye guard my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have guarded my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

  1. "What does it profit, my brethren, though a man say he has faith, and have not works? Can faith save him?"
  2. "If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,"
  3. "And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit?"
  4. "Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone."
  5. "Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works".
James 2:14-18 Eth Cepher

As you have seen, to be a 'Saint' in this generation makes Satan and his army mad. Like lions, they prowl looking for just one opportunity to devour you. You more than likely will be going through fiery times. And, if everything else fails to make a sinner out of a Saint, then death will settle it. But, YaHuWaH remains on the Throne. So, the Saints are safe, regardless.

  1. Moreover the Word of YaHuWaH came unto me, saying,
  2. son of A'dam, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tsor, and say unto him, Thus says Adonai YaHuWaH; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
  3. You have been in Eden the garden of Elohiym; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, ..., and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.
  4. You are the anointed Keruv (Cherub) that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of Elohiym; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
  5. You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you.
  6. ..., and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of Elohiym: and I will destroy you, O covering Keruv (Cherub), from the midst of the stones of fire.
  7. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
  8. You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the Earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
  9. All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be anymore.
Yechezkiy'el 28:11-19 Eth Cepher
  1. Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the Earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has but a short time.
Revelation 12:12 Cepher

What might the "'Woe' to the inhabiters of the Earth" mean? Beloved, make no mistake about it. When you see disasters, often wrongly described as 'acts of Elohiym', you are seeing Satan at work; when you see strife, conflicts, wars, you are seeing Satan at work. As the end nears, these things shall increase in intensity and frequency and scale to startle the world. When you see men exhibit zero capacity for honesty and in its place, every utterance of their lips is mendacious and untrustworthy, you are seeing Satan at furious work. No generation of human history has experienced the Hurricanes, Cyclones, Floods, pestilence after pestilence as we are today. America was seen just months ago as a place where no one gets away with crime, lying or dishonesty. Today, can you vouch for any word out the mouth of an American? The floodgates of lying and dishonesty was seemingly opened by one former President. Today, you're either mendacious in his community or you're banished! The rest of the world never had a better reputation. It is an issue here because, America, the last bastion of truth and honesty has gone the way of the rest of the world! Again, these things will get even worse.

  1. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
  2. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
  3. And because the transgression of the Torah shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
MattithYahuw 24:10-12 Cepher

Every where in the world, human life today is worth absolutely nothing! Bloodletting is fun and sport! People's sensibilities when stories like those emerge, have become completely inured! It is no longer news. "Love" is now in 'deep freeze'!

The Devil, Satan, knows his days are severely numbered now. Knowing the decree in Yechezkiy'el 28, he also knows he stands zero chance of overcoming. Just like humanity, Satan is confined to Earth, a bubble with an insurmountable hemispherical Dome over it and an impenetrable core under it. If he could escape, Satan would have left Earth long ago. That being so, all he has left to do, is take as many more as possible down with him! Please Child of YaHuWaH, refuse to be his victim.

The Devil, Satan, like other Angels, is made of fire.

  1. And of the Angels he says, Who makes his Angels ruachoth, and his ministers a flame of fire.
Hebrew 1:7 Eth Cepher

At the end of the Millennium, during the Third Coming of YaHuWshuaH, Hell, which is the unveiling of the full glory of YaHuWshuaH, shall destroy all things tainted with sin! Including Satan and his rebel Angels. But, as we saw in Hebrews 1:7 above, Satan and his demons are made of 'fire', how then can fire destroy and turn them to ashes? Beloved, there is fire, and there is fire. Satan and his demons on the Sun, are comfortable. But the fire of the glory of Yahuwshuah, will destroy all other forms of fire! Sadly, the same 'fire' which will destroy fiery Angels will be used to terminate the souls of human beings who remain aligned with Satan! That fire, friend, is too much for Man! It must be avoided at all costs. In the next section, we will see something of what is in store for Satan and the entire confederacy on his side at the end.

Ellen G. White | Prophetess to the Remnant
Ellen G. White | Prophetess to the Remnant

At the close of the thousand years, HaMashiyach again returns to the Earth. He is accompanied by the host of the redeemed and attended by a retinue of Angels. As He descends in terrific majesty He bids the wicked dead arise to receive their doom. They come forth, a mighty host, numberless as the sands of the sea. What a contrast to those who were raised at the first resurrection! The righteous were clothed with immortal youth and beauty. The wicked bear the traces of disease and death.

Every eye in that vast multitude is turned to behold the glory of the Son of Elohiym. With one voice the wicked hosts exclaim: “Blessed is He that cometh in the name of YaHuWaH!” It is not love to YaHuWshuaH that inspires this utterance. The force of truth urges the words from unwilling lips. As the wicked went into their graves, so they come forth with the same enmity to HaMashiyach and the same spirit of rebellion. They are to have no new probation in which to remedy the defects of their past lives. Nothing would be gained by this. A lifetime of transgression has not softened their hearts. A second probation, were it given them, would be occupied as was the first in evading the requirements of Elohiym and exciting rebellion against Him.

HaMashiyach descends upon the Mount of Olives, whence, after His resurrection, He ascended, and where Angels repeated the promise of His return. Says the prophet: YaHuWaH my Elohiym shall come, and all the Saints with Thee.” “And His feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Yerushalayim on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof, ... and there shall be a very great valley.” “And YaHuWaH shall be king over all the Earth: in that day shall there be one Adonai, and His name one.” ZekarYahuw 14:5, 4, 9. As the New Yerushalayim, in its dazzling splendor, comes down out of Heaven, it rests upon the place purified and made ready to receive it, and HaMashiyach, with His people and the Angels, enters the Holy City.

Now Satan prepares for a last mighty struggle for the supremacy. While deprived of his power and cut off from his work of deception, the prince of evil was miserable and dejected; but as the wicked dead are raised and he sees the vast multitudes upon his side, his hopes revive, and he determines not to yield the Great Controversy. He will marshal all the armies of the lost under his banner and through them endeavor to execute his plans. The wicked are Satan's captives. In rejecting HaMashiyach they have accepted the rule of the rebel leader. They are ready to receive his suggestions and to do his bidding. Yet, true to his early cunning, he does not acknowledge himself to be Satan. He claims to be the prince who is the rightful owner of the world and whose inheritance has been unlawfully wrested from him. He represents himself to his deluded subjects as a redeemer, assuring them that his power has brought them forth from their graves and that he is about to rescue them from the most cruel tyranny. The presence of HaMashiyach having been removed, Satan works wonders to support his claims. He makes the weak strong and inspires all with his own spirit and energy. He proposes to lead them against the camp of the Saints and to take possession of the City of Elohiym. With fiendish exultation he points to the unnumbered millions who have been raised from the dead and declares that as their leader he is well able to overthrow the city and regain his throne and his kingdom.

In that vast throng are multitudes of the long-lived race that existed before the Flood; men of lofty stature and giant intellect, who, yielding to the control of fallen Angels, devoted all their skill and knowledge to the exaltation of themselves; men whose wonderful works of art led the world to idolize their genius, but whose cruelty and evil inventions, defiling the Earth and defacing the image of Elohiym, caused Him to blot them from the face of His creation. There are kings and generals who conquered nations, valiant men who never lost a battle, proud, ambitious warriors whose approach made kingdoms tremble. In death these experienced no change. As they come up from the grave, they resume the current of their thoughts just where it ceased. They are actuated by the same desire to conquer that ruled them when they fell.

Satan consults with his Angels, and then with these kings and conquerors and mighty men. They look upon the strength and numbers on their side, and declare that the army within the city is small in comparison with theirs, and that it can be overcome. They lay their plans to take possession of the riches and glory of the New Yerushalayim. All immediately begin to prepare for battle. Skillful artisans construct implements of war. Military leaders, famed for their success, marshal the throngs of warlike men into companies and divisions.

At last the order to advance is given, and the countless host moves on — an army such as was never summoned by earthly conquerors, such as the combined forces of all ages since war began on Earth could never equal. Satan, the mightiest of warriors, leads the van, and his Angels unite their forces for this final struggle. Kings and warriors are in his train, and the multitudes follow in vast companies, each under its appointed leader. With military precision the serried ranks advance over the Earth's broken and uneven surface to the City of Elohiym. By command of YaHuWshuaH, the gates of the New Yerushalayim are closed, and the armies of Satan surround the city and make ready for the onset.

Now HaMashiyach again appears to the view of His enemies. Far above the city, upon a foundation of burnished gold, is a throne, high and lifted up. Upon this throne sits the Son of Elohiym, and around Him are the subjects of His kingdom. The power and majesty of HaMashiyach no language can describe, no pen portray. The glory of the Eternal Father is enshrouding His Son. The brightness of His presence fills the City of Elohiym, and flows out beyond the gates, flooding the whole Earth with its radiance.

Nearest the throne are those who were once zealous in the cause of Satan, but who, plucked as brands from the burning, have followed their Savior with deep, intense devotion. Next are those who perfected Natsariym characters in the midst of falsehood and infidelity, those who honored the law of Elohiym when the Natsariym world declared it void, and the millions, of all ages, who were martyred for their faith. And beyond is the “great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, ... before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.” Revelation 7:9. Their warfare is ended, their victory won. They have run the race and reached the prize. The palm branch in their hands is a symbol of their triumph, the white robe an emblem of the spotless righteousness of HaMashiyach which now is theirs.

The redeemed raise a song of praise that echoes and re-echoes through the vaults of Heaven: “Salvation to our Elohiym which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.” Verse 10. And Angel and seraph unite their voices in adoration. As the redeemed have beheld the power and malignity of Satan, they have seen, as never before, that no power but that of HaMashiyach could have made them conquerors. In all that shining throng there are none to ascribe salvation to themselves, as if they had prevailed by their own power and goodness. Nothing is said of what they have done or suffered; but the burden of every song, the keynote of every anthem, is: Salvation to our Elohiym and unto the Lamb.

In the presence of the assembled inhabitants of Earth and Heaven the final coronation of the Son of Elohiym takes place. And now, invested with supreme majesty and power, the King of kings pronounces sentence upon the rebels against His government and executes justice upon those who have transgressed His law and oppressed His people. Says the prophet of Elohiym: “I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the Earth and the Heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Elohiym; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.” Revelation 20:11, 12.

As soon as the books of record are opened, and the eye of YaHuWshuaH looks upon the wicked, they are conscious of every sin which they have ever committed. They see just where their feet diverged from the path of purity and holiness, just how far pride and rebellion have carried them in the violation of the law of Elohiym. The seductive temptations which they encouraged by indulgence in sin, the blessings perverted, the messengers of Elohiym despised, the warnings rejected, the waves of mercy beaten back by the stubborn, unrepentant heart — all appear as if written in letters of fire.

Above the throne is revealed the Cross; and like a panoramic view appear the scenes of Adam's temptation and fall, and the successive steps in the great plan of redemption. The Savior's lowly birth; His early life of simplicity and obedience; His baptism in (the river) Jordan; the fast and temptation in the wilderness; His public ministry, unfolding to men Heaven's most precious blessings; the days crowded with deeds of love and mercy, the nights of prayer and watching in the solitude of the mountains; the plottings of envy, hate, and malice which repaid His benefits; the awful, mysterious agony in Gethsemane beneath the crushing weight of the sins of the whole world; His betrayal into the hands of the murderous mob; the fearful events of that night of horror — the unresisting prisoner, forsaken by His best-loved disciples, rudely hurried through the streets of Yerushalayim; the Son of Elohiym exultingly displayed before Annas, arraigned in the high priest's palace, in the judgment hall of Pilate, before the cowardly and cruel Herod, mocked, insulted, tortured, and condemned to die — all are vividly portrayed.

And now before the swaying multitude are revealed the final scenes — the patient Sufferer treading the path to Calvary; the Prince of Heaven hanging upon the Cross; the haughty priests and the jeering rabble deriding His expiring agony; the supernatural darkness; the heaving Earth, the rent rocks, the open graves, marking the moment when the world's Redeemer yielded up His life.

The awful spectacle appears just as it was. Satan, his Angels, and his subjects have no power to turn from the picture of their own work. Each actor recalls the part which he performed. Herod, who slew the innocent children of Bethlehem that he might destroy the King of Israel Yashar'el; the base Herodias, upon whose guilty soul rests the blood of Yahuwchanon the Baptist; the weak, timeserving Pilate; the mocking soldiers; the priests and rulers and the maddened throng who cried, “His blood be on us, and on our children!” — all behold the enormity of their guilt. They vainly seek to hide from the divine majesty of His countenance, outshining the glory of the Sun, while the redeemed cast their crowns at the Savior's feet, exclaiming: “He died for me!”

Amid the ransomed throng are the apostles of HaMashiyach, the heroic (Paul) Pa'al, the ardent (Peter) Kepha, the loved and loving Yahuwchanon, and their truehearted brethren, and with them the vast host of martyrs; while outside the walls, with every vile and abominable thing, are those by whom they were persecuted, imprisoned, and slain. There is Nero, that monster of cruelty and vice, beholding the joy and exaltation of those whom he once tortured, and in whose extremest anguish he found satanic delight. His mother is there to witness the result of her own work; to see how the evil stamp of character transmitted to her son, the passions encouraged and developed by her influence and example, have borne fruit in crimes that caused the world to shudder.

There are papist priests and prelates, who claimed to be HaMashiyach's ambassadors, yet employed the rack, the dungeon, and the stake to control the consciences of His people. There are the proud pontiffs who exalted themselves above Elohiym and presumed to change the law of the Most High. Those pretended fathers of the church have an account to render to Elohiym from which they would fain be excused. Too late they are made to see that the Omniscient One is jealous of His law and that He will in no wise clear the guilty. They learn now that HaMashiyach identifies His interest with that of His suffering people; and they feel the force of His own words: “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.” MattithYahuw 25:40.

The whole wicked world stand arraigned at the bar of Elohiym on the charge of high treason against the government of Heaven. They have none to plead their cause; they are without excuse; and the sentence of eternal death is pronounced against them.

It is now evident to all that the wages of sin is not noble independence and eternal life, but slavery, ruin, and death. The wicked see what they have forfeited by their life of rebellion. The far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory was despised when offered them; but how desirable it now appears. “All this,” cries the lost soul, “I might have had; but I chose to put these things far from me. Oh, strange infatuation! I have exchanged peace, happiness, and honor for wretchedness, infamy, and despair.” All see that their exclusion from Heaven is just. By their lives they have declared: “We will not have this Man [YaHuWshuaH] to reign over us.”

As if entranced, the wicked have looked upon the coronation of the Son of Elohiym. They see in His hands the tables of the divine law, the statutes which they have despised and transgressed. They witness the outburst of wonder, rapture, and adoration from the saved; and as the wave of melody sweeps over the multitudes without the city, all with one voice exclaim, “Great and marvelous are Thy works, YaHuWaH Elohiym Almighty; just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of Saints” (Revelation 15:3); and, falling prostrate, they worship the Prince of life.

Satan seems paralyzed as he beholds the glory and majesty of HaMashiyach. He who was once a covering cherub remembers whence he has fallen. A shining seraph, “(howling) son of the morning;” how changed, how degraded! From the council where once he was honored, he is forever excluded. He sees another now standing near to the Father, veiling His glory. He has seen the crown placed upon the head of HaMashiyach by an Angel of lofty stature and majestic presence, and he knows that the exalted position of this Angel might have been his.

Memory recalls the home of his innocence and purity, the peace and content that were his until he indulged in murmuring against Elohiym, and envy of HaMashiyach. His accusations, his rebellion, his deceptions to gain the sympathy and support of the Angels, his stubborn persistence in making no effort for self-recovery when Elohiym would have granted him forgiveness — all come vividly before him. He reviews his work among men and its results — the enmity of man toward his fellow man, the terrible destruction of life, the rise and fall of kingdoms, the overturning of thrones, the long succession of tumults, conflicts, and revolutions. He recalls his constant efforts to oppose the work of HaMashiyach and to sink Man lower and lower. He sees that his hellish plots have been powerless to destroy those who have put their trust in YaHuWshuaH. As Satan looks upon his kingdom, the fruit of his toil, he sees only failure and ruin. He has led the multitudes to believe that the City of Elohiym would be an easy prey; but he knows that this is false. Again and again, in the progress of the Great Controversy, he has been defeated and compelled to yield. He knows too well the power and majesty of the Eternal.

The aim of the great rebel has ever been to justify himself and to prove the divine government responsible for the rebellion. To this end he has bent all the power of his giant intellect. He has worked deliberately and systematically, and with marvelous success, leading vast multitudes to accept his version of the Great Controversy which has been so long in progress. For thousands of years this chief of conspiracy has palmed off falsehood for truth. But the time has now come when the rebellion is to be finally defeated and the history and character of Satan disclosed. In his last great effort to dethrone HaMashiyach, destroy His people, and take possession of the City of Elohiym, the archdeceiver has been fully unmasked. Those who have united with him see the total failure of his cause. HaMashiyach's followers and the loyal Angels behold the full extent of his machinations against the government of Elohiym. He is the object of universal abhorrence.

Satan sees that his voluntary rebellion has unfitted him for Heaven. He has trained his powers to war against Elohiym; the purity, peace, and harmony of Heaven would be to him supreme torture. His accusations against the mercy and justice of Elohiym are now silenced. The reproach which he has endeavored to cast upon YaHuWaH rests wholly upon himself. And now Satan bows down and confesses the justice of his sentence.

“Who shall not fear Thee, O YaHuWaH, and glorify Thy name? for Thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before Thee; for Thy judgments are made manifest.” Verse 4. Every question of truth and error in the long-standing Controversy has now been made plain. The results of rebellion, the fruits of setting aside the divine statutes, have been laid open to the view of all created intelligences. The working out of Satan's rule in contrast with the government of Elohiym has been presented to the whole universe. Satan's own works have condemned him. Elohiym's wisdom, His justice, and His goodness stand fully vindicated. It is seen that all His dealings in the Great Controversy have been conducted with respect to the eternal good of His people and the good of all the worlds that He has created. “All Thy works shall praise Thee, O YaHuWaH; and Thy Saints shall bless Thee.” Psalm 145:10. The history of sin will stand to all eternity as a witness that with the existence of Elohiym's law is bound up the happiness of all the beings He has created. With all the facts of the Great Controversy in view, the whole universe, both loyal and rebellious, with one accord declare: “Just and true are Thy ways, Thou King of Saints.”

Before the universe has been clearly presented the great sacrifice made by the Father and the Son in man's behalf. The hour has come when HaMashiyach occupies His rightful position and is glorified above principalities and powers and every name that is named. It was for the joy that was set before Him — that He might bring many sons unto glory — that He endured the Cross and despised the shame. And inconceivably great as was the sorrow and the shame, yet greater is the joy and the glory. He looks upon the redeemed, renewed in His own image, every heart bearing the perfect impress of the divine, every face reflecting the likeness of their King. He beholds in them the result of the travail of His soul, and He is satisfied. Then, in a voice that reaches the assembled multitudes of the righteous and the wicked, He declares: “Behold the purchase of My blood! For these I suffered, for these I died, that they might dwell in My presence throughout eternal ages.” And the song of praise ascends from the white-robed ones about the throne: “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.” Revelation 5:12.

Notwithstanding that Satan has been constrained to acknowledge Elohiym's justice and to bow to the supremacy of HaMashiyach, his character remains unchanged. The spirit of rebellion, like a mighty torrent, again bursts forth. Filled with frenzy, he determines not to yield the Great Controversy. The time has come for a last desperate struggle against the King of Heaven. He rushes into the midst of his subjects and endeavors to inspire them with his own fury and arouse them to instant battle. But of all the countless millions whom he has allured into rebellion, there are none now to acknowledge his supremacy. His power is at an end. The wicked are filled with the same hatred of Elohiym that inspires Satan; but they see that their case is hopeless, that they cannot prevail against YaHuWaH. Their rage is kindled against Satan and those who have been his agents in deception, and with the fury of demons they turn upon them.

Saith YaHuWaH: “Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of Elohiym; behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit.” “I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.... I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.... I will bring thee to ashes upon the Earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.... Thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.” Yechezkiy'el 28:6-8, 16-19.

“Every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.” “The indignation of YaHuWaH is upon all nations, and His fury upon all their armies: He hath utterly destroyed them, He hath delivered them to the slaughter.” “Upon the wicked He shall rain quick burning coals, fire and brimstone and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.” YeshaYahuw 9:5; 34:2; Psalm 11:6, margin. Fire comes down from Elohiym out of Heaven. The Earth is broken up. The weapons concealed in its depths are drawn forth. Devouring flames burst from every yawning chasm. The very rocks are on fire. The day has come that shall burn as an oven. The elements melt with fervent heat, the Earth also, and the works that are therein are burned up. Malachi 4:1; 2 (Peter) Kepha 3:10. The Earth's surface seems one molten mass — a vast, seething lake of fire. It is the time of the judgment and perdition of ungodly men — “the day of YaHuWaH's vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion.” YeshaYahuw 34:8.

The wicked receive their recompense in the Earth. Proverbs 11:31. They “shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith YaHuWaH of hosts.” Malachi 4:1. Some are destroyed as in a moment, while others suffer many days. All are punished “according to their deeds.” The sins of the righteous having been transferred to Satan, he is made to suffer not only for his own rebellion, but for all the sins which he has caused Elohiym's people to commit. His punishment is to be far greater than that of those whom he has deceived. After all have perished who fell by his deceptions, he is still to live and suffer on. In the cleansing flames the wicked are at last destroyed, root and branch — Satan the root, his followers the branches. The full penalty of the law has been visited; the demands of justice have been met; and Heaven and Earth, beholding, declare the righteousness of YaHuWaH.

Satan's work of ruin is forever ended. For six thousand years he has wrought his will, filling the Earth with woe and causing grief throughout the universe. The whole creation has groaned and travailed together in pain. Now Elohiym's creatures are forever delivered from his presence and temptations. “The whole Earth is at rest, and is quiet: they [the righteous] break forth into singing.” YeshaYahuw 14:7. And a shout of praise and triumph ascends from the whole loyal universe. “The voice of a great multitude,” “as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings,” is heard, saying: “Halleluyah: for YaHuWaH Elohiym omnipotent reigneth.” Revelation 19:6.

While the Earth was wrapped in the fire of destruction, the righteous abode safely in the Holy City. Upon those that had part in the first resurrection, the second death has no power. While Elohiym is to the wicked a consuming fire, He is to His people both a Sun and a shield. Revelation 20:6; Psalm 84:11.

“I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth: for the first Heaven and the first Earth were passed away.” Revelation 21:1. The fire that consumes the wicked purifies the Earth. Every trace of the curse is swept away. No eternally burning hell will keep before the ransomed the fearful consequences of sin.

One reminder alone remains: Our Redeemer will ever bear the marks of His crucifixion. Upon His wounded head, upon His side, His hands and feet, are the only traces of the cruel work that sin has wrought. Says the prophet, beholding HaMashiyach in His glory: “He had bright beams coming out of His side: and there was the hiding of His power.” Habakkuk 3:4, margin. That pierced side whence flowed the crimson stream that reconciled man to Elohiym — there is the Savior's glory, there “the hiding of His power.” “Mighty to save,” through the sacrifice of redemption, He was therefore strong to execute justice upon them that despised Elohiym's mercy. And the tokens of His humiliation are His highest honor; through the eternal ages the wounds of Calvary will show forth His praise and declare His power.

“O Tower of the flock, the stronghold of the daughter of Zion, unto Thee shall it come, even the first dominion.” Micah 4:8. The time has come to which holy men have looked with longing since the flaming sword barred the first pair from Eden, the time for “the redemption of the purchased possession.” Ephesians 1:14. The Earth originally given to man as his kingdom, betrayed by him into the hands of Satan, and so long held by the mighty foe, has been brought back by the great plan of redemption. All that was lost by sin has been restored. “Thus saith YaHuWaH ... that formed the Earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited.” YeshaYahuw 45:18. Elohiym's original purpose in the creation of the Earth is fulfilled as it is made the eternal abode of the redeemed. “The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.” Psalm 37:29.

A fear of making the future inheritance seem too material has led many to spiritualize away the very truths which lead us to look upon it as our home. HaMashiyach assured His disciples that He went to prepare mansions for them in the Father's house. Those who accept the teachings of Elohiym's word will not be wholly ignorant concerning the heavenly abode. And yet, “eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohiym hath prepared for them that love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9. Human language is inadequate to describe the reward of the righteous. It will be known only to those who behold it. No finite mind can comprehend the glory of the Paradise of Elohiym.

In the Bible the inheritance of the saved is called “a country.” Hebrews 11:14-16. There the heavenly Shepherd leads His flock to fountains of living waters. The tree of life yields its fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree are for the service of the nations. There are ever-flowing streams, clear as crystal, and beside them waving trees cast their shadows upon the paths prepared for the ransomed of YaHuWaH. There the wide-spreading plains swell into hills of beauty, and the mountains of Elohiym rear their lofty summits. On those peaceful plains, beside those living streams, Elohiym's people, so long pilgrims and wanderers, shall find a home.

“My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.” “Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.” “They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: ... Mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.” YeshaYahuw 32:18; 60:18; YeshaYahuw 65:21, 22.

There, “the wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.” “Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree.” “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; ... and a little child shall lead them.” “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” saith YaHuWaH. YeshaYahuw 35:1; 55:13; YeshaYahuw 11:6, 9.

Pain cannot exist in the atmosphere of Heaven. There will be no more tears, no funeral trains, no badges of mourning. “There shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying: ... for the former things are passed away.” “The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.” Revelation 21:4; YeshaYahuw 33:24.

There is the New Yerushalayim, the metropolis of the glorified new Earth, “a crown of glory in the hand of YaHuWaH, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Elohiym.” “Her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.” “The nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the Earth do bring their glory and honor into it.” Saith YaHuWaH: “I will rejoice in Yerushalayim, and joy in My people.” “The tabernacle of Elohiym is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohiym Himself shall be with them, and be their Elohiym.” YeshaYahuw 62:3; Revelation 21:11, 24; YeshaYahuw 65:19; Revelation 21:3.

In the City of Elohiym “there shall be no night.” None will need or desire repose. There will be no weariness in doing the will of Elohiym and offering praise to His name. We shall ever feel the freshness of the morning and shall ever be far from its close. “And they need no candle, neither light of the Sun; for YaHuWaH Elohiym giveth them light.” Revelation 22:5. The light of the Sun will be superseded by a radiance which is not painfully dazzling, yet which immeasurably surpasses the brightness of our noontide. The glory of Elohiym and the Lamb floods the Holy City with unfading light. The redeemed walk in the sunless glory of perpetual day.

“I saw no temple therein; for the YaHuWaH Elohiym Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” [Revelation 22:5; 21:22.] The people of Elohiym are privileged to hold open communion with the Father and the Son. Now we “see through a glass, darkly.” [1 Corinthians 13:12.] We behold the image of Elohiym reflected, as in a mirror, in the works of nature and in his dealings with men; but then we shall see him face to face, without a dimming veil between. We shall stand in his presence, and behold the glory of his countenance.

There the redeemed shall “know, even as also they are known.” The loves and sympathies which Elohiym himself has planted in the soul, shall there find truest and sweetest exercise. The pure communion with holy beings, the harmonious social life with the blessed Angels and with the faithful ones of all ages, who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb, the sacred ties that bind together “the whole family in Heaven and Earth,” [Ephesians 3:15.] — these help to constitute the happiness of the redeemed.

There, immortal minds will contemplate with never-failing delight the wonders of creative power, the mysteries of redeeming love. There is no cruel, deceiving foe to tempt to forgetfulness of Elohiym. Every faculty will be developed, every capacity increased. The acquirement of knowledge will not weary the mind or exhaust the energies. There the grandest enterprises may be carried forward, the loftiest aspirations reached, the highest ambitions realized; and still there will arise new heights to surmount, new wonders to admire, new truths to comprehend, fresh objects to call forth the powers of mind and soul and body.

All the treasures of the universe will be open to the study of Elohiym's redeemed. Unfettered by mortality, they wing their tireless flight to worlds afar — worlds that thrilled with sorrow at the spectacle of human woe and rang with songs of gladness at the tidings of a ransomed soul. With unutterable delight the children of Earth enter into the joy and the wisdom of unfallen beings. They share the treasures of knowledge and understanding gained through ages upon ages in contemplation of Elohiym's handiwork. With undimmed vision they gaze upon the glory of creation — suns and stars and systems, all in their appointed order circling the throne of Deity. Upon all things, from the least to the greatest, the Creator's name is written, and in all are the riches of His power displayed.

And the years of eternity, as they roll, will bring richer and still more glorious revelations of Elohiym and of HaMashiyach. As knowledge is progressive, so will love, reverence, and happiness increase. The more men learn of Elohiym, the greater will be their admiration of His character. As YaHuWshuaH opens before them the riches of redemption and the amazing achievements in the Great Controversy with Satan, the hearts of the ransomed thrill with more fervent devotion, and with more rapturous joy they sweep the harps of gold; and ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of voices unite to swell the mighty chorus of praise.

“And every creature which is in Heaven, and on the Earth, and under the Earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Revelation 5:13.

The Great Controversy is ended. Sin and sinners are no more. The entire universe is clean. One pulse of harmony and gladness beats through the vast creation. From Him who created all, flow life and light and gladness, throughout the realms of illimitable space. From the minutest atom to the greatest world, all things, animate and inanimate, in their unshadowed beauty and perfect joy, declare that Elohiym is love.

Ellen G. White, Chapter 42 — The Controversy Ended.

Knowing now what we know about the Adversary, what kind of attitude should Natsariym have toward him? In English, how should we relate to Satan?

Every Natsariym should settle this in their mind: Satan is totally irrelevant in our lives. Banish every thought of him or mention of his name or title in every of your discourse, even in Prayer. Remember that the Bible forbids Natsariym to mention his name! You should never again mention the word "Satan", "Devil", "Demon" or "Demons" in your prayers. Even more so in your private or public discourses, except in the context of teaching or preaching. When Angels of Elohiym were teaching Adam in the Garden of Eden, they often mentioned Gadriy'el in many forms to ensure Adam and his wife Chuah were informed enough not to fall by him.

"And in all things that I have said unto you be guarded: and make no mention of the name of other elohiym, neither let it be heard out of your mouth".

Shemoth (Exodus) 23:13 Cepher

Is Satan a deity? Yes, he is, to many!

In whom the el of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, ...

2 Corinthians 4:4 Cepher

Every Natsariym should live as if Satan DOES NOT exist. How is that possible, one may ask? Yes it is. If you settle it in your mind that nothing happens to you or to whosoever, to whatsoever without our Father's knowledge and permission; whether it be good or evil, even disasters, that our Father knows about it. We should never credit Satan with anything! Whether good or bad. Whatever happens, we should flee into our Father's presence and ask Him questions if we must; complain to Him, if we must; cry to Him, if we need to. We are admonished to thank and praise, and glorify YaHuWaH in every situation. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (Cepher): "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of Elohiym in Mashiach YaHuWshuaH concerning you".

In prayer, extol and speak about the power of our Elohiym and His Mashiyach. Never speak about Satan, saying he did this or that. He does not have power over you. None. Stop giving him relevance. He has none. If you do these, he will flee from you and be in dread of you as he is of me. James 4:7 (Cepher): "Submit yourselves therefore to Elohiym. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you".

(29) Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

(30) But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

(31) Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.

MattithYahuw 10:29-31 Eth Cepher

But there shall not a hair of your head perish.

Luke 21:18 Eth Cepher

I hope you do bear with me mentioning the Adversary here so many times. I do so, in the same manner that the Bible does, in teaching or preaching setting.

Watch the Savior teach this truth to Pilate!

YaHuWshuaH answered, You could have no power at all against me, except it were given you from above: ....

Yahuwchanon 19:11 Eth Cepher

And, for our equipment for the warfare that is raging:

  1. "Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of Elohiym, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
  2. "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;"
  3. "And your feet shod with the preparation of the Besorah of peace;"
  4. "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."
  5. "And take the helmet of yeshu`ah, and the sword of the Ruach, which is the Word of Elohiym:"
  6. "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Ruach, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all qodeshiym;"
Ephesians 6:13-18 Eth Cepher

Finally, my brethren, be strong in YaHuWaH, and in the power of his might.

Ephesians 6:10 Eth Cepher
