Our discussion of "True Worship" does not reference those who are outside the family belonging to YaHuWshuaH the Son of YaHuWaH, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. We are biblically called "Natsariym" in the Hebrew language, and in English, "Natsarenes" and "Nazarenes". And we call our religion, "Natsarenity". Join us.
Whatever those outside of this scope or definition are doing or choose to do in "worship" is their choice! But they, like us, need to keep rethinking their stand. A True Worshiper This Is How To Worship
In our scan of a few secular and theological dictionaries for the meaning of the word "Worship", did you find anything of the above-listed activities in the meanings? Certainly not! One may of course argue that the reason we return tithes, give offerings, dance, sit and listen to sermons is because 'we have the highest regard and respect' for Elohiym. Yes, that is true. But what one, who feels the way you do toward the Creator, does as worship, is different. Very different. Put simply, you bow down on your hands and knees with your head to the ground or you prostrate yourself fully to the ground. That is 'Worship'.
Another True Worshiper This Is Worship
Genuflecting, or obeisance, bowing your head a shade like facing the ground does not cut it at all. All it does is indicate respect but it is not worship. Kneeling down is not worship! It is respect. It is a way of humbling ourselves before our Creator, since we are in HIS presence for supplication and prayers, especially.
Muslims At Worship Worshiping Who?
Of all religions in the world, the Muslims got the attitude right. Sadly, they are giving true worship to Satan! Take no offense that We describe the deity they worship as Satan! We did not. They did. How?
There are ONLY two entities seeking our worship. ONLY TWO! El-Shaddai YaHuWaH and Satan! They say that their deity has no Son and no children! YaHuWaH Elohiym has. Their deity calls for the massacre of unbelievers. YaHuWaH Elohiym calls them to repentance. Their deity left them to 'save themselves'. YaHuWaH Elohiym, in HIS Son, YaHuWshuaH, died to save us, urging us only to accept HIS death in our stead so we can live. We could go on and on. Yes, YaHuWaH Elohiym tells us that Salvation is of the Yahuwdiym. YaHuWaH Elohiym is Elohi-Yisra'el. They would not belong to Yahuwdiym and want all Yahuwdiym destroyed! They worship a different el than we do! We know that we serve and worship the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, whose only begotten Son is YaHuWshuaH haNatsri. Who then is their el? There can be no other entity but the other counterfeit el, demanding Worship! Satan!
But YHWH is the true Elohiym, he is the living Elohiym, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the Earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
Thus shall ye say unto them, The Elohiym that have not made the heavens and the Earth, even they shall perish from the Earth, and from under these heavens.
What Satan has done is to allow those who are wholly his worshipers to know and offer true worship to him. But those who pretend to be YaHuWaH's worshipers, whom HIS Spirit is still 'striving' with, Satan has made sure they would not know or offer YaHuWaH the Creator, the only ONE deserving and entitled to worship, anything close to true worship! What a dastardly act! Highest Treason!!!
This is the masterful execution of Satan's plan which went into effect even before he lost his place in Heaven.
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Now, let us do a survey of worship and worshiping in the Old and New Testaments. What exact attitude and posture did our spiritual ancestors have when they were described as in worship or worshiping?
Old Testament Worshipers
Abraham worshiping Elohiym
And I bowed down my head, and worshiped YaHuWaH, and blessed YaHuWaH Elohiym of my master Avraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son.
And it came to pass, that, when Avraham's servant heard their words, he worshiped YaHuWaH, bowing himself to the Earth.
And the people believed: and when they heard that YaHuWaH had visited the children of Yisra'el, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshiped.
An Yashar'eliy at Worship

When occasion calls for it, what is formally called 'obeisance' can also count for 'worship'. So if you find yourself in a situation on the fly and you feel impressed to worship Elohiym, slowing your steps and bowing the head may suffice. But it will not suffice in worship convocations. It will not.

They lavish gold out of the bag, and weigh silver in the balance, and hire a goldsmith; and he maketh it an el: they fall down, yea, they worship.
Here we have it. Worship means bowing, falling down with face to the ground, or falling
prostrate before whom you wish to worship. Some time, bowing the head and keeping it bowed a few seconds 'for a quick' worship, is it too.
Do you feel too big to bow your forehead to the ground before HIM who created you, in whose hands is the very breath you are taking right now? What culture are you emulating in the way you are worshiping? Surely not the Bible's, not the Bible as you can see above.
Singing, as a part of religious service, is as much an act of worship as is prayer.
Singing is singing and does have praise in it. Singing adds to and enhances 'worship' ambience. Singing by itself is not Worship! Serving Elohiym is crucial. We need to be found engaged in HIS farm as often as possible and wherever duty calls. We are HIS servants. But 'serving Elohiym' is not worship! Praise makes our Elohiym joyful and HIS joy is always our strength. But 'praise' by itself is not worship!
Catholic True Worshipers But Worshiping Who?
Fall down at HIS feet and worship. Satan alone has been enjoying this from Muslims and those of the household of the Beast and others like them! But our Elohiym, the only true Elohiym has been denied! He alone is worthy of worship, because, HE created us, HE redeemed us by laying down HIS life and HE sustains us.
Please beloved, note that it is sacrilegious to 'dance' in a worship environment! Dance at your parties and ceremonies. But never 'dance' during 'worship'. Says YaHuWaH:
Be silent before Me, you coastlands, and let peoples renew their power! Let them come near, then let them speak. ...
But YaHuWaH is in his qadosh (holy) temple: let all the Earth keep silence before him.
"Worship" is a solemn event every time regardless of where and when it is done.
Now, let us go have a look at the New Testament and see how our spiritual ancestors worshiped YaHuWaH. And while we are there, notice how Angels in Heaven are doing it too.
Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Then saith YaHuWshuaH unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship YaHuWaH thy Elohiym, and him only shalt thou serve.

Even Satan, a created being, will accept worship in no other form other than 'falling down'! The Bible's call to everyone to worship YaHuWaH does not need any commentary. But why the call? It is important to remember that we are created in the image of Elohiym. But if we do not worship Elohiym, we are worshiping someone or something else! But trouble is: worshiping anyone or anything else, alters our image! Scripture says,:
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
Effective Worship, Acceptable Worship
Still, the right attitude in worship, falling at HIS feet, means little if our hearts are not right with HIM, if our character is out of harmony with HIS holiness.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Elohiym is Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Our hearts must be right and after HIM. And we must worship in accordance with 'scripture', 'all light', 'knowledge' that we have. 'Thy word is the Truth', 'Thy Law is the Truth', and 'I am the Truth and the Life'. YaHuWshuaH is the Word, the Law and the Truth. It is the Truth as it is in HIM that shall make our worship acceptable.
Ye hypocrites, well did YeshaYahuw prophesy of you, saying,

In Vain They Worship
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (MattithYahuw 15:9 RNKJV)
The 'teachings', 'doctrines' that we subscribe to, that govern our beliefs and conduct, modify our worship! If they are false doctrines, our worship is in vain! But if anything is worth doing, it is worth doing well. If you wish to worship, you do well. Then ensure that your worship counts.
Warning Against False Worship

Here is the patience of the Saints: here are they that keep the commandments of YHWH , and the faith of YaHuWshuaH. (Revelation 14:12 RNKJV)
First off, No created being should be worshiped! No Angel and no man should be worshiped. Satan in his rebellion forces and accepts worship. It is treason! Anyone who accepts worship commits treason. Notice that when Yahuwchanon tried to worship the Angel Gavriy'el, the Angel promptly rebuked him. So did Kepha when Cornelius tried to worship him. Worship no one except YaHuWaH and HIM in HIS Son YaHuWshuaH.
YaHuWshuaH accepted worship as a baby from the Maggai, before HIS passion by Disciples and others, and after HIS resurrection by many. YaHuWaH says,
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the Angels of Elohiym worship him. (Hebrews 1:6 RNKJV)
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O Elohiym, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom.
This is the reason why we worship the Father and the Son, because they are One and the Same.

The issue of 'worship' is the issue that will bring the world as we know to its end!
As you should see, the day you worship shows who you worship. The Calendar which designates your months, days and dates for worship and worship convocations, shows who your deity is! The 'Great Warning' is against all who shall be found having the Mark of the Beast or the Number of his name! What is the Mark Of the Beast? As you shall find by visiting our page titled the Mark Of the Beast, It is the Mark that is the opposite to the Mark Of Elohiym. First then, what is YaHuWaH's Mark? The Bible answers:
Moreover also I gave them my Sabbaths,
to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am YHWH that sanctify them. (Yechezkiy'el 20:12 RNKJV)
And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am YHWH your Elohiym.
The Seal of YaHuWaH, the Sign or Mark of YaHuWaH is the SABBATH! Keeping the Sabbath is a sign that you accept the Authority of YaHuWaH. And that you accept HIM as the Creator. Every Keeper of the True Sabbaths belongs to Elohiym. Satan avoids them unless their hedge is lifted temporarily to test them, or permanently due to sin!
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it qadosh (holy). (Exodus 20:8 RNKJV)
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: (Exodus 20:9 RNKJV)
But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHWH thy Elohiym: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: (Exodus 20:10 RNKJV)
For in six days YHWH made heaven and Earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YHWH blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:11 RNKJV)
The Beast, empowered by Satan set up the First day of the week as the Sabbath! Majority of Bible-carrying 'Christians' worship on SUNDAY. The Beast, the Papacy, claims that Sunday as the day of worship is the Mark of their ecclesiastical power. The most important change that the Papacy made is the out-lawing of the Biblical Calendar and imposing theirs, first as the Julian Calendar, succeeded by the Gregorian Calendar now in use by the whole world! The reality then is, using their Calendar, you could never keep YaHuWaH's Sabbath! This is because you cannot find YaHuWaH's Seventh day using the Gregorian or any other Calendar! Neither Sunday, Saturday, nor Friday, nor any other Gregorian day, is the Sabbath. To find it, you must use YaHuWaH's own Calendar. Worship & The Moon
Please take a look at our page titled Creation.
There, you would find that YaHuWaH created the Moon for the express purpose of determining the days and dates for all worship. The Bible confirms: "He appointed the Moon for seasons:... "(Psalm 104:19 KJV)
If the day you worship is not determined by the Moon's phases, you are not worshiping Elohi-Yisra'el, YaHuWaH! Worship events are appointments, meetings, or convocations we attend to meet with our Elohiym. How can we ignore the date and time HE promises to meet with us, and decide another date and timing of our own and expect to see him there? How? He will never be there! YaHuWaH's Calendar is a LuniSolar Calendar controlled by the movements of both the Sun, Moon, and the Stars.
The Divine Calendar
Ultimately, except you abandon the Gregorian Calendar and embrace YaHuWaH's Calendar, you may well be on course to acquiring the Mark of the Beast! Whatever you do, please stay as far away as possible from this dreadful Mark!
There are Several Sabbaths. We must keep all to have the Mark of Elohiym which will be our Covering and canopy against the terrors of the last days! The Law states: "And hallow my Sabbaths; ... (Yechezkiy'el 20:20 RNKJV) " The Sabbaths are:

Day Of Atonement
Feast of Tabernacles
None of these events and their dates can be found in the Gregorian Calendar!
We recommend and pray that you switch to the divine Calendar that you and your loved ones may be in harmony with HIM and HIS Word.
Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before YaHuWaH in the Sabbaths and in the new moons.
YaHuWaH's Calendar shall continue beyond time into eternity. For when sin and sinners are gone, we shall continue to worship him by HIS Calendar.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith YHWH.
Death: Either Way!
Beloved, make no mistake about this! You are promised death. If you obey Satan and his Beast, YaHuWaH promises you everlasting death! If you obey YaHuWaH, Satan and his Beast promises you death! Well which "death" would you rather die? Here it is:
And all that dwell upon the Earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8 RNKJV) If any man have an ear, let him hear. (Revelation 13:9 RNKJV) ...
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. (Revelation 13:15 RNKJV)
And the third Angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, (Revelation 14:9 RNKJV)
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of YHWH, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the qadosh (holy) Angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: (Revelation 14:10 RNKJV)

YaHuWshuaH admonished us while HE was here in these words:
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Beloved, 'fire and brimstone' is another name for 'hell'. YaHuWaH threatens 'hell' for anyone who worships another, even the 'Beast' and 'the Dragon'. But the Adversary's threat of 'death' to YaHuWaH's worshipers is only an empty threat as he cannot harm the 'soul'. So, then, I would choose to obey YaHuWaH! And may Satan do his worst!! So, beloved, the war for our souls is raging now. Who will win the war for your soul? May YaHuWaH win mine. Amein.
Prayers: Praying
Good Prayer Posture
Prayers and praying are not in the scope of this page. But we believe that in a discussion of 'worship' and the correct posture for 'worship', we cannot not mention the correct postures for prayer and how applicable or not they are to 'worship'.
The Bible invites us to 'Kneel' in prayer before YaHuWaH. And so, bowing the head and kneeling down remains the model posture for praying. But, if you are to pray loudly to the hearing of others in your family or church or social gathering, you cannot pray well, clearly and strongly audibly if your head is bowed. It is expected that you would 'kneel' but raise your face up toward Heaven. That is the acceptable posture for public prayer.
Good Prayer Posture
Instruction in vocal culture should be given in the home circle. Parents should teach their children to speak so plainly that those who are listening can understand every word that is said. ... And let not those who kneel round the family altar put their faces in their hands and in their chair when they address Elohiym. Let them lift up their heads and, with qadosh (holy) awe and boldness, come to the throne of grace.
Good Prayer Posture
IT IS OUR PRIVILEGE TO KNEEL WHEN IN PRAYER. — Both in public and in private worship it is our privilege to bow on our knees before Elohiym when we offer our petitions to Him. YaHuWshuaH, our example, "kneeled down, and prayed." Luke 22:41. Of His disciples it is recorded that they, too, "kneeled down, and prayed." Acts 9:40. Paul declared, "I bow my knees unto the Father of our Master YaHuWshuaH HaMashiach." Ephesians 3:14. In confessing before Elohiym the sins of Yisra'el, Ezra knelt. See Ezra 9:5. Daniy'el "kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his Elohiym." Daniy'el 6:10.
We must pray constantly, with a humble mind and a meek and lowly spirit. We need not wait for an opportunity to kneel before Elohiym. We can pray and talk with Elohiym wherever we may be.
Music forms a part of Elohiym's worship in the courts above, and we should endeavor, in our songs of praise, to approach as nearly as possible to the harmony of the heavenly choirs. ... Singing, as a part of religious service, is as much an act of worship as is prayer. The heart must feel the spirit of the song, to give it right expression.
Excellent Prayer Posture
Nearly all persons can speak loud enough to be heard in ordinary conversation, and why should not the same voice and talent be used when they are called upon to bear testimony or offer prayer? When speaking of heavenly and divine things, why not speak in distinct tones, in a manner that will make it manifest that you know what you are talking about, and are not ashamed to show your colors? Why not pray as though you had a conscience void of offense, and could come to the throne of grace in humility and yet with qadosh (holy) boldness, lifting up qadosh (holy) hands without wrath and doubting? Do not bow down and cover up your face as if there were something that you desired to conceal; but lift up your eyes toward the heavenly Sanctuary, where Mashiach your Mediator stands before the Father to present your prayers as fragrant incense, mingled with his own merit and spotless righteousness. You are invited to come, to ask, to seek, to knock, and you are assured that you will not come in vain. YaHuWshuaH says, "Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for every one that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened." He illustrates the willingness of Elohiym to bless by presenting before us the willingness of a father to grant the request of his child. He asks, "If a son ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone, or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the qadosh (holy) Spirit to them that ask him? [Luqas 11:9-13]
